coke and pepsi taste different because coke was invent before refrigeration so it was designed to be drunk warm, while pepsi was designed after refrigeration was invented so it was designed to be drunk cold. as a result the tastes are different but if you drink pepsi cold and coke warm theyll taste the same.

Carrier pigeons come from a species of Wild Rock pigeon, and their flights could be as long as 1800 km and were used as early as 3000 years ago. 

You know in old cartoons where a character throws a beehive at someone, and you think ‘lol, but that wouldn’t work in real life’. Turns out it would, and did. People used to lob beehives at the approximate location of the enemy forces to expose them.

The Party: Part One

So, last nights party got interesting when a guy showed up and broke in through the bedroom window, after first busting through the door, trying to attack my partner.

We managed to throw him out, but then he took an elbow to the window and came crawling in, all bloody, with a psychotic look in his eyes.

Suddenly, a small gathering of friends turned into something out of a horror thriller movie, where we were basically locked inside the house the whole night, trying to keep him from coming in when he showed up a second time - after the police picked him up and let him go right after.

I ended up in the emergency room for stitches after I got cut on glass trying to stop him from climbing through the window.

The second time he came, he first threatened my life on the phone several times before showing up again, then pretended to be all calm and claimed that he only wanted to talk.

When we refused to let him in, told him that after what he did there was no talking about shit and told him we had called the cops again, he tried to break through both the porch door and two other windows on the other side of the apartment, before taking off when he realised that everyone at the party had found a weapon to protect themselves, because they actually feared for their lives.
