There are some events so significant that they split your life into Before and After, and unfortunately my life has been split a couple times now for not so fun reasons.
But now I finally have a good event. My life is now split into:
Before I attended my first SHINee concert at Belluna Dome.
After I attended my first SHINee concert at Belluna Dome,
and didn't mind the crappy seat or the fact I couldn't take photos because I was breathing the same air as them and 1000 Shawols and screaming all the fanchants,
and realized that their Japanese was on the same level as mine and I finally understood them joking with each other,
and the very first song was Spoiler which is one of my favorites as if it was Meant to Be,
and seeing only four presences on stage did hurt but not as much as I thought it would,
and due to said crappy seat I had resigned myself to seeing only the backs of their heads or flesh colored blurs, but then they got on that rocket ship thing and went around the stadium and I Saw Their Faces, Not On A Screen But In Real Life, And I Waved And SHINee Waved And I Could Pretend That They Actually Saw Me
...my one regret was that due to a) being broke most of my life, and b) honestly having struggled with openly expressing my SHINee love due to Reasons, I went to the concert without a stitch of merch or even a pearl aqua shirt to signal that I've been a Shawol for 14 years.
I'm fixing that now.
