because normally shane has A Schedule that has him up and out of bed at the optimum time to complete everything he needs to get done-

-but ilya is trapping him (literally just has an arm over his chest and a leg over his thighs), so he CAN'T get up (ilya literally just said "you are trapped" and shane gave up immediately) and has no choice (he could get up with like. NO effort.) but to be TORTURED (ilya is nuzzing at his neck and shane is practically purring) by having to be kept PRISONER (they're going to have soft, half-effort morning sex and then have another lil nap)

Shane and Ilya snuggled up in the plush private recovery room of the expensive surgery center that did Ilya's dental surgery. Ilya is on this recliner and it's only wisdom teeth surgery so his pathetic whines managed to convince Shane to come cuddle on his lap while he comes down from the anesthesia.

One time in 2015 the boston team's plane was held up for like twenty minutes on the runway and Ilya's leg was bouncing the whole time.

ilya rozanov who’s known to boston as the mysterious fuckboy from russia who chirps like he’s getting paid for it and is crazy good at hockey. one day a teammate is absent from a few games in a row and turns back up to practice with a fucking newborn and they’re all in their hockey gear fawning over this tiny baby. then once everyone’s said hi before practice, the crowd parts and ilyas just stood by the doorway, a literal deer in headlights staring at the bundle of blankets in his teammates arms and-

“do you wanna hold him?”

ilya’s moving forward before he can process the words and everyone’s holding their breath as he gathers the newborn into his arms, pausing to take his gloves off first. it’s a few tense seconds before the baby babbles and shifts slightly before tucking his head into the crook of his arm and swiftly falling to sleep.

ilya looks up to see his whole team stifling grins, “i think we’ve found the new babysitter” and he bites back a chirp because he doesn’t want to wake the baby he’s holding so delicately to his chest.

he’s stuck on the sidelines for the whole practice while he rocks the baby through the slams against walls, waving its little arm towards its dad when it eventually wakes up.

and yeah pictures surface soon after of fucking rozanov staring down at the baby in his arms with the fucking softest eyes and twitter has a field day proving he’s a softie at heart

#MyShane will protest when Ilya bodily picks him up, because Ilya's a smug asshole about it and Shane wants to give the appearance of not enjoying being manhandled like that, but he actually likes it. He likes it because he spent so long trying to convince himself that he wanted women, that he liked someone smaller and not as strong as he is, and it just never did it for him. But broad shoulders and muscled as hell back and yoked arms that can lift 200lb+ hockey player to haul him to the couch to fuck him? Oh shit that really does it for Shane. There is absolutely no denying that he's with a man when they can just casually grab him by the back of the legs and carry him to bed.

shane will learn ilya’s language bc he loves ilya. ilya would have considered learning another language for shane but unfortunately the only other language shane knows is french. and as a european it is his god given duty to reject as much french from his life as humanly possible. also english was hard and he got better at it to try and impress shane so i think if shane ever brings up ilya potentially learning french he might have to sleep in a different bed that night
