Homemade Acaí Energy Bowl 💜 Holy YUM. For me, eating healthy makes me feel healthy which then gives me a healthy mind. With a healthy mind, I can better decisions throughout my day, and at the same time feel confident in my own skin, no matter what anyone says or how anyone may make me feel. Wanna feel great too?! I highly recommend changing your diet. When you start to eat food that is good for your body, you will start to feel better about yourself, your lifestyle, your situation, whatever it may be that’s got you down in the dumps!

The recipes I received from doing my 14 day Conscious Cleanse with Gaiam TV most definitely has me wanting to go after the healthier, better-for-you foods rather than the junky stuff that makes you feel all junky in the trunky, among other areas in and on your body.

Here in this bowl, my acaí mixture consists of unsweetened almond milk, bananas, chia seeds and a couple of frozen packets of acaí berry. I then topped it off with organic mango, organic banana, organic blueberries and organic strawberries. Organic, organic, organic. YES. Why? Because it’s better for your body! Look it up!

DELISH Kale Chips!!! And such a healthy snack! I LOVED the tangy taste to these! Here's the recipe! •1 or 2 TB olive oil •1 TB freshly squeezed lime juice •1 bunch kale •1/2 tsp sea salt Preheat oven 350 degrees. Line baking sheet with waxed or parchment paper. In small bowl, combine olive oil & lime juice and set aside. Rinse and dry kale thoroughly. (Be sure kale is dry, or you'll have have steamed or burned chips.) Remove kale stems and cut leaves into small pieces. Spread kale on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle oil/juice mixture. Bake for 10-12 mins or until crispy. Stay close to the oven because these can burn very quickly. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle sea salt. Boom! #FBF #FlashBackFriday to one of these bad boys. It's an UP band made by @jawbone . It tracks your steps and your sleep and you can add what you eat and what you do for exercise to the app to see/watch your daily results. I decided to bust this guy out yesterday to help me keep track of my "lifestyle" for the next 10 days. Reason? 5 days ago I started the @gaiamtv Conscious Cleanse, The Clean Eating and Yoga Challenge. Every day I drink a green smoothie and do yoga. But that's not it. No, no! I had to cut certain things out of my diet too! Like dairy, eggs, soy, sugar, wheat and gluten products, and eventually caffeine and alcohol. "Eventually" meaning, TOMORROW (Day 6). How do I feel so far? EFFING AMAZING. I feel great both inside and out and I LOVE the diet because I typically eat like this anyway, except I'm slightly challenged with some of the "no-no's" on that list. I call it a Minty Fresca :) Refreshing AND guilt-free! In a mixing glass I put 5 organic mint leaves from my own personal plant here at home, 2 wedges of an organic lemon, 1 packet of Stevia In The Raw, a splash or two of FIJI water and muddled. (You don't have to muddle but I chose to do so to release more flavor from the mint and lemon.) Top off with some ice cubes, Fresca and about a tsp or two of organic chia seeds. And BOOM!
