My name is Oblivious, you can call me Ob if you want, I don't care. But welcome! This is something like maybe three people and 69 moms asked for. But I don't care.
This is a Channing Tatum fan blog. Here will be reposts and x reader fics I guess because why not? I know he doesn't have a lot so this is me saying I will be writing some for him AND his characters. This man is too fine to be ignored anymore and I won't have it!!
I'll have a list of characters I'll be working for, but the short list for now is: the A-Lister himself, Remy "The Ragin Cajun" LaBeau, Caine Wise (this dog makes me BARK), Magic Mike himself, and Greg Jenko.
Summary: Jupiter is your best friend, except she's been ghosting you for almost 2 months now. But now she's back, and she has a new dog.
Warnings: swears, thirsty talk, kinda boring since it's exposition and shit (my opinion)
Word Count: 1,839
Notes: I know I said I'd get this out sooner, but work sucks. Come eat y'all's dinners @vamprific-rose, @the-m-archives @no-i-have-no-shame

You and Jupiter had a long history of friendship- nearly fifteen years! You met when you were kids. Your guardian and her mom leaned on each other when they needed too. That meant you and her spent a lot of time- years together, actually, which also meant you knew about her immigrant status. Not that you cared. You had bigger things to worry about.
Like right now. When she suddenly showed up in your apartment after being missing for, like, two months. With no warning! You had been scolding her so loud that you didn't even notice the sound of the shower running.
"You can't just disappear on me like that!" Your arms were crossed over your chest, eyebrows furrowed in utter frustration. Your voice lowered just a little bit as you said the next part, like someone might hear you. It was entirely possible given the thin shared walls of your apartment. "I thought you got deported! So did your mother!"
"I know! I know, and I'm so sorry! I would've contacted you if I could. I was just... Busy?" Her leg was bouncing again, a well known habit she had thanks to her anxiety. Her phone was still dead on her lap, plugged in to your charger in the wall. You wanted to be mad, but Jupiter sounded so genuinely apologetic, and it almost frustrated you further. But you both knew you already forgave her the second you found out she was back.
"I need you to tell me what happened. Right now." You sat beside her, looking her over. The black shirt was new, the strange pattern wasn't her usual style. Unless she got another pay advancement from her cousin? You didn't care. What mattered was that she was here and safe.
"I want to tell you, but I don't know where to start..." Jupiter's voice trailed off, her hand fucking a strand of hair behind her ear. That's when you noticed it.
"You got a tattoo?! You're mom is going to freak, Jupiter!"
"No!" She waved her hands, turning fully to you. "It's not- it's- look, it's a lot to process, and you might think I'm just crazy."
As Jupiter tried to explain the mark, you stopped listening almost as soon as she started. Something far more interested was walking down the hallway behind her, straight out of your bathroom, followed by whips of steam. A man. He was tall- built, and ruffling his wet hair with a towel. He might as well have been a runway model with the way he walked down the hallway, each step akin to a goddamn strut. To top it off... The stranger was shirtless, wearing pants tight enough you could see the muscles in his thighs twitch with each step. You looked between Jupiter, and the man now standing in your living room, then Jupiter again.
The man was an eye full and then some. A snack, if you will. A damn meal. You almost forgot how to breath as you looked at the tattoo engulfing his bicep that you suddenly, desperately, ferally wanted to sink your teeth into-
"You ghosted me for a man?" You threw a thumb in the direction of the unnamed stranger, who let out a puff of amused air through his nose. He rested the towel around his neck, and you finally got a view of his features.
Sharp jaw, blonde hair, freckles on those firm shoulders? This man was the definition of desire. And you hated how much you stared at the man because damn, you'd have ghosted yourself too if that hunk was in your bed.
"No. No, um- Caine," she waved to the man, "this is the friend I was telling you about."
Caine stopped, his eyes trailing over you slowly, and you found yourself subconsciously and slowly sitting up straighter. He nodded to you.
"I've heard a lot about you." His voice rumbled from his throat, smooth and deep and- DAMN. Your face was warm. It was really warm. All of you was warm in general, actually.
"All good things." Jupiter said quickly as she turned to you.
"Mostly good things." Caine grinned, sharp teeth peaking through as he teased Jupiter just enough to make her panic more.
It was really hard for you to focus. His teeth were just like- right there and sharp and you wondered what dental work he had done. And now that you really looked at him- those ears.
"And... And Caine is?" You turned back to your friend, raising your eyebrows in a very sudtle way of going "please say single". But he answered for her.
"A lycantant."
A silence fell over the room. Jupiter covered her eyes, sinking back into the couch cushions with a soft whine. This is not how she planned for this to go, clearly.
"What the hell have you been up to?" You rubbed your temples. Nothing was connecting. The communication was lacking. And it was horribly cliche. So, Jupiter started her very long story. About how she went to a doctor's visit and was almost abducted by literal aliens-
"Keepers." Caine replied, taking a seat in a plush lounge chair, towel still around his neck, thighs spread like a literal God.
"Yeah. And they can apparently wipe minds. And rebuild our cities in hours!" Jupiter explained, continuing on about how Caine saved her. They went across galaxies together, trying to stop some rich brat from harvesting people on Earth, which Jupiter owned and-
"Wait! Wait, wait, wait." You waved your hands. This was actually insane. "You went to space?"
Caine snorted again from his chair, running the towel down his arms like he needed to dry them. It was all just to show off the ripples of muscle layered under his freckled and marked skin.
"I forgot you're planet is very uneducated about life out of its atmosphere. " He was staring at you, green eyes sharp and locked on you. You had no idea that he could smell every shift in your hormones.
Jupiter shushed him before she continued with her story. But the lycantant sitting in the brown leather lounger was still staring, like a genuine predator. Like he wanted to eat you alive. There was a twitch in his jaw, like an ache in his teeth set in, and you were convinced he actually did want to bite you.
Soon, Jupiter finished, hands landing in her lap as she looked at you for questions, comments, any type of response.
"Uh. Ok. So you," you tried to reply, eyes locked on Caine's. "You own Earth?"
"In a way." Her voice trailed off before she pulled a tablet looking dohickey. And she handed it to you.
"Jupe. This means nothing to me." You said, looking down at the tablet before chucking it onto your coffee table. Caine's ear twitched at the harsh clank.
"Cause it's not even on." He grunted as he stood, more for show, more to mess with you before he picked it up off the table. He didn't even ask before sitting next to you, invading your space. Your thigh touched his, basically shoulder to shoulder, bicep to bicep, and Jupiter waved her hand at him.
"Don't crush them, please." She said, scooting over to give you space. But you didn't move because that- it was fine. Honestly. It was really fine. How could it not be?
He was quick to turn on the tablet, crossing further into your space to hold it out for Jupiter. The tattoo on her wrist got brighter as it was scanned by the tablet before he handed it back to you.
And the screen was some contract- in a language you couldn't read. But Caine, the ever helpful lycantant, was there to assist again.
"Scroll." He put his arm over the back of the couch, still shirtless, still tattooed, still covered in freckles, and now smelling like your body wash. And you listened. Like the good human you are. "See? Not so hard, is it?"
His teeth flashed again, white and solid when you shot him a glare- he was enjoying getting a rise out of you.
But soon, on the tablet, you hit the English translation, which surprised you more than anything. You scrolled down, seeing it was definitely a contract stating Jupiter, through birthright and willed testament owns Earth.
"How do you even own a planet?" You're eyebrows furrowed as you read it.
"That's also a long story." Caine mumbled, damn near in to your shoulder as he read the contract (the one he'd reread a thousand some times) again.
Jupiter was watching with furrowed brows- sure, they had a quick little thing in space, her and Caine, but it didn't last long, no fault to either of them. The spark fizzled naturally, a neutral thing. But Jupiter had never seen him so enthralled from the start.
You turned to her, eyes wide and cheeks warm before handling Caine the tablet.
"Can we talk? In private?" Before Jupiter could explain that was damn near pointless with Caine's hearing, you were standing and dragging her out of the living room- and into your bedroom. The door slipped from your hand, slamming behind you before you went full interrogation mode.
"Who the fuck is he?" You waved your hand to stop her from answering right away. "He's fucking looking me up and down like I'm his dinner. Where the fuck did you even find a guy like him?"
"He saved me, actually." Jupiter replied, shrugging her shoulders. "I don't know where he came from."
"And he's a hero? Oh my fucking god." You dropped onto your bed, laying on your back like a wounded warrior. She cocked an eyebrow.
"He's single." She chuckled, sitting on the bed.
"And a lycantant, whatever the hell that is. Some kind of mental werewolf shit?" You waved your hands, looking at the cieling.
"I wouldn't say werewolf, but he's definitely not fully human." She shrugged after getting comfortable on your bed.
"Are you guys, like-?" You're voice trailed off, head turned to look at her. She smiled before shaking her head no.
"No, no. We had a short thing but we're past that. Just friends." Jupiter let out a soft giggle before continuing while you kicked your feet like a school girl.
"So I can hit that?" You say up on your elbows. A wicked smile pulled across your lips, and Jupiter could tell you were already planning courting the man, wolf instincts and all.
"He's not super familiar with Earth customs when it comes to dating, but go for it... " She shrugged before her eyes lit up. "Oh, but if you get the chance, he has this weak spot on his neck where if you bite it-"
A knock sounded against the door.
"I can hear you." Caine's voice mixed with a literal growl. The sound caused the hair on the back of your neck to stand, and heat to rush your body again. All confidence was gone. His voice was stern as he spoke. "Since they want to know so much about me, why don't they ask me?"
It does look different. I think it's his cheek bones? Maybe something about the fact he can actually move his head by turning his neck rather than, like, doing the classic torso Batman turn.
I think some roles have him cover them with makeup (probably for better blending, idk), but I adore them. I noticed them during Jupiter Ascending, but thought just Caine had freckles. And then I think Magic Mike was when I went "THOSE ARE REAL?"
Has anyone written a fic of catching Mike dancing in the garage of Magic Mike XXL? In that take top? And seeing him grind against that table? To Pony? Is that a thing?
I said this on my insta, but I'll say it here! Say what you want about Tatum's Gambit, but I love him. He's my little guy. He got me into X-Men and made me a Gambit girly
I'm planning to make this a Photocard on my ACGGoods store! Hopefully, it will be up soon!
