#Repost @dryazdan A little behind the scenes of a smile makeover of a patient that flew in from Florida starting with removal of excessive gum tissue to lengthen teeth, followed by removal of an old crown that did not fit/did not match adjacent teeth, followed by veneer preps to complete the look. The tissue heals quickly, and temporaries were placed while the lab fabricates the permanent restorations. I love makeovers like this. They make such a big difference in the overall appearance of the patient, boosting their confidence and allowing them to live happier lives!

#Repost @samirtiapa Paciente referido por dolor. Al principio se pensó en que el 4.8 estaba causando la molestia pero después del exámen radiográfico se refirió a evaluación endodóntica donde se diagnosticó pulpitis irreversible de 4.7. Nótese la cercanía con el nervio dentario inferior, estos caso hay que tratar de no extruir material ( sobre todo cemento sellador ) para evitar una parestesia. Se consideró mandar a realizar una CBCT pero el paciente tenía recursos económicos limitados así que se decidió trabajar con precaución. La 4.8 se le realizó la extracción después de finalizada la terapia endodóntica por motivos restauradores ya que era imposible restaurar distal con el molar en esa posición. This is actually an example of an incorrect suture needle selection. The needle is too big for this thin mucosal incision line with a 3/8 shape.
