Shiro sleeping with really light sheets and blankets, the team learnt quickly that if he falls to sleep with something heavy on him which restricts his movements he'll have nightmares about being experimented on. :)

They find out the hard way. Shiro somehow manages to fall asleepout in the gathering area and kind, well-meaning Hunk thinks he looks cold sohe goes and snags one of the heavy blankets from a closet to put over him. Heheads back into the kitchen where everyone else is gathered, eating some newfood contraption he made, and he doesn’t think hardly anything of it until theyhear yelling and shouting coming from where Shiro was sleeping. They all gorunning back just in time to see Shiro activate his arm and completely shredthe blanket to pieces, even more pale-faced than normal and sweating up astorm. They manage to pull him out of his nightmares with careful words andcoaxing.
Coran asks him if he’s okay and he croaks out, “I thought Iwas back…there. I thought she wastaking my arm off again. I couldn’t move.” He doesn’t say anything else but hedoesn’t need to. From then on, everyone is careful to make sure his movementsaren’t restricted when he sleeps. The only exception is when it’s peoplesleeping on or next to him. The warm, breathing bodies don’t make him feel likehe’s strapped back to Haggar’s operating table.
(He feels horrible about the blanket later, but Allura tellshim not to worry.)
