Teen Titans (2003) - Welcome to the beginning, of the end for the heroes known as the Core Four.

Popularity doesn’t always equal quality. As Teen Titans (2003) was a very popular series in it’s day, but that doesn’t mean it’s a good series.

Their are certain things people judge a story on. How well did it tell it’s story? How deep was the story (as in character arcs, and special dynamics)? How layered where the characters? Where they consistent? Was the story telling consistent?

In storytelling these are basic things you have to accomplish if you want to have a good story told. Doing anything on a whim can be catastrophic for it being fondly remembered, and the more times go on, the more I see Teen Titans’s 2003 volume being trashed for what it did to it’s characters. And rightfully so–

To prove the point that I’m going to be going after, I want to introduce you to some fan favorite characters. And show you the difference between an actual character arc and a sudden out of character change.

I need more people to write Tim as being physically unable to stop himself from running his mouth no matter what. Like canonically during the Titans Tower incident, Tim was talking shit. More of that please. No matter how much trouble he's in he just compulsively has to mouth off, usually to his detriment.
