Anglophone amateur language enthusiast. B1 to B2 in French, A1ish? in Polish. Trying to pick up some German. Interested in a variety of languages, especially smaller or endangered ones, and their little quirks. I want to learn more about (certainly not limited to): Irish (and Celtic languages in general), Basque, Georgian, Hebrew, Icelandic, Farsi, Inuktitut, and basically any Slavic language and the connections between them.
I have ADHD, so I end up 'leapfrogging' between different languages of interest somewhat frequently. I genuinely find some of the more technical grammatical aspects interesting. Please don't hesitate to tell me interesting things about languages.
I use the following tags:
#own post - for my personal language experiences or input
#reblog, sometimes accompanied by #memes, for the appropriate posts
#commentary - usually discourse or discussion around languages
#grammar and #vocabulary/vocab as appropriate
