BAYANIHAN, Angat Buhay NGO, and The Milk Tea Alliance
The Milk Tea That Bring all the Boys and Girls in the Yard, and LGBTQ+ people, and damn right, it’s better than Draconian Ruso-Chinese Policies
The Milk Tea Alliance is a movement that started in Thailand. This is in response to China’s provocation in ASEAN countries and the ruthless draconian policies of Communist China to influence and exploit the society, economy and politics of South East Asia and all territories claimed by Communist China in their 9 Dash Line. Thailand civil societies have long been campaigning for a paradigm shift to socialist democracy in their country. Although Thailand is blessed with the good governance of the parliamentary rule of King Rama, a direct descendant of great monarchs of Thailand, the Thai people have been wanting this change in government to be kept abreast with this tough and challenging times.
Social democracy modeled after Scandinavian countries has long been yearned by people in the ASEAN, as they have seen the balance of powers between the government and the people. The Scandinavian countries and the United States of America have long demonstrated these policies in their respective territories. Elections are successful in the transition of heads of states and government leaders in the federal government. What we are yearning for in ASEAN is the promotion of social democracy where the civilians and citizens are not just participating in the government by electing official and paying taxes. Suffrage and taxation should be balanced with the participation of the civilians/citizens of a nation state to hasten nation-building. The roles of civilians/citizen is one of the main principles of democracy. The majority of the population should be responsible and conscientious voters. Their political leaders should also be responsible and conscientious in disbursing and using the taxes imposed and collected on all institutions that comprise the nation state.
Along with the upheaval of information technology and systems, the thrust of the Information Age should follow the main model of the Industrial Revolution. The Information Age Revolution is at its peak these times where virtual reality and blockchain technology influences the society and economy of every nation state or territory. We cannot deny the fact that the Information Age Revolution is relying on the exchange, processing and deliberating technologies and economies. As simply put, “Information is the new currency.” If the currency of feudal states in the 12th century is gold and metals like iron, tin and silver, and the cash economy is welcomed by the Industrial Age, the 2nd millennium is met by reliance on industrial and information technology. Now the humans have perfected their technologies in farming, and the supply chain of prime commodities, it is up to information and blockchain technology to advance humans to be able to care for their natural environment as science and technology continues to grow. This continuing and unstoppable upheaval is a must, since with the easy and seamless exchange of information across all sectors is rapidly growing and affecting society and the natural ecosystem worldwide.
Now going back to the Milk Tea Alliance, it’s main focus is the grassroots left behind by the elitist United Nations. The United Nations, a brainchild of the second world war has lost its significance because its leaders have forgotten why UN is created in the first place. The United Nations forgot its core principles, and its philosophy of “non-interference” in the politics of nation states are not being scrutinized and reviewed. The United Nations may have created bureaus to achieve the 17 goals of SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PLANS. The keyword “sustainable”, “development” says it all. But UN just ends up planning, and what it really does is exploit the nations of the global south.
Given these circumstance, the Asia Pacific region has learned to advance Japan’s goal in their philosophy of Great East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere. Japan might have been bombed and served as the first example of the success of the nuclear technology in warfare, but they have rebuilt their nation, improved their policies and their relationship with their neighboring countries.
Most members of The Milk Tea Alliance (which is now a movement in ASEAN and Asia Pacific regions, including tea producers like Far East China, India and ASEAN members) are from the ASEAN region since it all started in Thailand, supporting the Civil Disobedience Movement of Myanmar against the terrorist group, the Burmese Military Junta. We don’t have to elaborate further what the Burmese Junta does. It functions very well as a cadre of Communist China. The situation of the Burmese people is not a joke. Their first attempt of a clean and honest election which put Daw Aung San Suu Kyi as head of state was thwarted with the coup de tat of military personnel who actually benefitted from the regime of tyranny and dictatorship. Aung Minh Hlaing is guilty of treason! And now, Aung San Suu Kyi, the recognized and duly elected head of state of Myanmar is now illegally detained, all her supporters are also illegally detained and actually executed and killed off, being labelled of the enemies of state by the real perpetrators of tyranny.
Thailand citizens are actively helping the citizens of Myanmar in addressing the food shortage since the Burmese junta has been exploiting the Burmese citizens. This includes the Burmese junta in connivance with the Chinese organized crime leaders. In just a span of months, the environment of Myanmar has reached the level of Cambodian citizen exploitation. Vietnam, a leader in the ASEAN region as one successful communist country (please, communism is not a dirty, but it is if it is connected with Xi Jin Ping’s China) has been a good role model in nation building in the ASEAN. Taiwan, claimed by XPJ’s China as its territory, despite its size has remained steadfast to their sovereignty. Hong Kong, a bailiwick of Mainland China has long been protesting and oppressed by XPJ’s draconian policies. Even the citizens of China are being exploited by XPJ, let us not forget that fact.
Given that the World War 3 has started when China released COVID 19’s patient zero in Wuhan, we definitely see a pattern of exploitation as XPJ and Russia’s Vladimir Putin connived with pariah and patriarchal states all over the Asia Pacific region. This doesn’t take a genius to figure out. Or someone with a gross nutritional deficiency to think about. China has ruined nation states like the Philippines, India, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia and even Thailand because their heads of states are also guilty of graft and corruption, plunder and STATE SPONSORED MURDERS.
Milk and Tea are staple in every ASEAN country, as eggs, rice and noodles are staple in the diet of those aforementioned countries and territories. We must fight back, UNITE AS ONE. It is the essence and spirit of what the Filipinos call Bayanihan. FILIPINOS, wake up. We need to unite with the Asia Pacific nations. They are our neighbors. They are rooting for us since the 1986 EDSA revolution lead the formation of a republic built and modelled after the federal democracy that the United States has taught and mentored us. The Angat Buhay NGO, should also establish a blanket of protection using the Bayanihan; now with the raiders of Aswang Communities and Detention centers in Mindanao, where the impunity has started and spread across the archipelago. You have no more time to waste. The Marcoses and the Duterte’s have long been exploiting the Philippines. When are you going to do something? Time is of the essence. Do not waste it please.
