Bugs Bunny could have simply walked into Mordor. He would have shown up at the gates of Mordor in a disguise and been like "Evil volcano inspection unit" and flashed a fake ID badge to the confused orc.
To be fair, itās canonically established in Lord of the Rings that Tom Bombadil, an inexplicable magical trickster, is unaffected by the ring, and the only reason they donāt give the job to him is because Tom Bombadil is a silly little man whoās easily distracted and just wants to spend time with his hot wife.
Bugs Bunny, on the other hand, loves nothing more than fucking over self-important dickheads, and is also an inexplicable magical trickster, so he would in fact be perfect for this mission.
The One Ring may not tempt Bugs, but heād have other problems with the mission: heād get lost halfway there (āI knew I shouldāve made a left turn at Albuquerqueā) and get distracted enough to hand the One RIng to Elmer Fudd or Yosemite Sam as a prank, only for it to be stolen by Daffy Duck, leading to an ever-increasing number of characters on an increasingly-destructive chase across Middle Earth as everyone keeps stealing it from each other, (Bugs would definitely pull the āevil volcano inspectorā gag to get into Mordor, and heād then immediately turn around and pose as a customs agent stopping whoever currently has the ring at the border and relieving them of it as ācontrabandā) culminating in an all-out brawl at Mount Doom.Ā Bugs manages to reclaim the ring one last time as everyone else is busy fighting each other, only for Daffy to come out of nowhere and grab it out of his hands.Ā Laughing maniacally, Daffy doesnāt realize that his victory dance has taken him right off the edge off a cliff - until Bugs points it out, at which point gravity reasserts itself, and Daffy and the ring both plunge to the fiery depths below
Ok. Frodo is played by Kermit. Miss Piggy is Sam. Is Sauron the human? Gonzo is Pippin. Which makes Rizzo Merry. Maybe all the wizards should ne human.

The sound of your own screams drowned out the sounds of the midwives around you as you sat submerged in an inflatable tub filled with warm water. Tears ran down your cheeks and you braced yourself against Ellisās chest, throwing your head back in anguish as your body was stretched to its limit.Ā
You had been in labor for hours, coming up on 24 of them, and your babyās head had finally begun to crown.Ā
āPush, push, chile.ā One of the elder women commanded below you and you cried out, digging your nails into Ellisās forearms as you did push with all your might.
āSe li, mon chere. Youāre doing so good.ā Ellisās voice was muted in your ear as you let out one last guttural, animalistic scream as your daughter was brought into the world.
You fell backward against Ellis, exhausted from the exertion of energy, and your eyes fluttered closed as you tried to catch your breath. After a moment of quiet, you realized that you hadnāt heard your baby cry.
Your eyes snapped open and you glanced over your shoulder at Ellis, who had the same worried expression as you. You sat up from his chest and looked at the backs of the midwives, huddled together as if they were shielding your baby from your gaze. āWhatās,ā You croaked, āWhatās wrong? Why isnāt she crying?ā
You didnāt get a response from the women and you frowned, looking at Ellis. He nodded at you and pressed his lips to your shoulder, getting up from the pool and walking over to the midwives.Ā
āO bondyeā¦ā Ellis muttered under his breath, covering his mouth with his hand. Your heart dropped and tears rimmed your eyes as you saw how horrified he looked.
āWhat?ā You desperately questioned, āEllis, Ellis, is she-!ā Your words were cut-off by a loud cry piercing the silence. You sighed in relief, thanking every entity you knew. Your lips spread in a watery smile and you held your hands out, āGive her to me.ā You cooed, before noticing that the others in the room did not share your relief.Ā
āEllis.ā You called, noting that he hadnāt picked her up yet, despite the fact that she was wailing, āBring me my daughter.ā You suddenly snapped, shocked when Ellis hurriedly left your house, the screen door slamming shut behind him.
āPitit,ā One of the midwives took mercy on you as the others looked on with disgust, she slowly padded towards you, your crying baby wrapped in a pink blanket with her head covered. The old woman kneeled down to your height and placed your daughter in your arms, before quickly moving back to stand with the others.Ā
You cradled your baby to your chest, shushing her cries as you lifted the blanket from her face. As soon as big brown eyes saw you she stopped screaming, instead blinking up at you like she knew you were her mother. You smiled down at her, your eyes going to her pointed ears as your heart swelled with emotion. You moved the blanket to get a view of her feet and you instantly knew who her father was.Ā
You sobbed, loud and watery, as you smiled down at your daughter. At his daughter.
āSe yon mityĆØl.ā The midwife who handed her to you exclaimed and the other ones hissed out prayers, āSheās a mutant.ā
āSheās my baby.ā You whispered, rocking her back and forth slowly.Ā
āSe yon mons!ā One of the other ladies spat, making the sign of the cross over her chest. āShe should be drowned.ā
You cradled your baby to your chest and glared at the women, āDonāt-!ā
āYou mustāve laid with the devil, chile.ā Another midwife hissed and the others nodded in agreement. āOpened your legs to a serpent.ā
āGet out.ā You huffed, your stare icy as they balked at your tone. āDesann! Get out! All of you! OUT!ā
The women huffed and shuffled from your house, muttering to each other as they went. As soon as you were alone, you held in your cries and looked down at your daughter who was already looking up at you.Ā
āBonswa my baby.ā You cooed at her, wincing as you got up on wobbly legs from your birthing pool. āYouāre so pretty, mama.ā You pecked her forehead and made your way to your bed, dropping yourself on it with a huff.
You sat up in bed and fed your daughter for the first time, admiring her as she filled her little belly. She had eyes just like his, pretty, brown and sparkling.Ā
āYou look just like your daddy.ā You whispered into the silence of the night, āHe was beautiful just like you, mon cher. He was a king, he wasā¦ā You paused, seeing her eyes flutter closed.
He was supposed to be here.
How many months had he been gone? How many nights had you gone to the water, your belly growing bigger and bigger until you couldnāt find it in yourself to waddle there anymore? How many promises had he made to youā¦
You cradled your baby to your chest and closed your eyes, trying to focus on the little God in your arms and not the one in your heart.
ššš
āDemon.ā
āYou know what she did to get that child, right?ā
āBeast.ā
āWhore.ā
It was easier to shield Lanmou from the hateful words when she was a baby; it was easier doing everything when she was a baby. You splashed water on her skin and gave her constant baths, letting her dive underwater when she wanted. She flew before she could walk and swam before she could fly.Ā
You kept her under you as long as you could but as she got older, aging just a little bit too slowly and being small for her age, you couldnāt keep her from everything.Ā
The people in town that once welcomed you with open arms spat vitriol at your daughter.Ā
They hadnāt a clue what the truth was, only making things up to make themselves feel better, to fit into their narrative of demons and haints.
You remember the first time she came home crying, tears streaming down her cheeks because she tried to play with the other children. You soothed her and waited until the sunset to take her to the mouth of the water, where she was conceived from lanmou, her namesake, love.Ā
āYou arenāt a bastard.ā You started lowly, wrapping your arms around your daughter, āYou arenāt a demon and you arenāt a monster. I loved your daddy more than anything in the world and he gave me you and he loves you too, Lanmou.ā
āThen why isnāt he here?ā Your baby whispered into the night air and your heart broke.Ā
You licked your chapped lips, fighting against the tears that threatened to spill from your eyes. āHe looked like you, Lani.ā You changed the subject with a careful smile, tracing over her facial features with your finger, āYou have his eyes, his smile, his ears and heās blessed you with his wings, isnāt that special?ā
Your child was silent in your lap, looking out at the waves in the ocean and searching for something; just like you used to. And just like all those nights that you waited up, nothing was there.Ā
Yet there you were, singing praises and adulation for a ghost. For a memory of a ghost. Your own words echoed in your mind like a scratched record but you wondered; were they a lie?
Did he love you? Did he ever love you? Would he love Lanmou?
All those nights spent on this very beach wrapped in each other whispering promises and making love to every inch of your being, inserting himself into your psyche and making you feel lost without him.Ā
Just like you were lost now.
āIn yakunaj, they would worship any part of me,ā He had assured you, his face buried into your neck as he nipped at your skin, āAnd you would be the most important part. You and my child, of course.ā
When he disappeared into the sea, you had cursed the night breeze and the moon, spat at the very sand you sat on, and scowled at the tide. You were so filled with anger you stopped eating, lost weight, fell into a depression and made yourself sick.Ā
But in a month's time you found out that it was not you that was making you vomit and weak; it was her.
You pressed a kiss to the top of Lanmouās curly hair, taking in the scent of the breeze. āI love you, Lala.āĀ
The little girl tilted her head back and looked up at you with her big brown eyes, the tears on her cheeks dry. āI love you, too, mama.āĀ
āReady to go back?ā You questioned and she shook her head, looking back at the water.
āJust a little longer, please.ā
āOkay.ā You whispered, pressing another kiss into her hair.

The wood of your porch was warm against your bare feet as you stepped outside. The street lights had begun to flicker on and it was about time for Lanmou to come home. Technically, she was already late as dinner was on the table and the sun had already disappeared over the horizon.Ā
Standing there on your porch, you imagined you looked like a younger version of your manman at that moment, looking for you to come running in from the street, though unlike her, you looked to the skies for your little one.Ā
āLala!ā You called out, leaning against your door frame. āLala, come in now!ā You listened for the tell tale fluttering of winged feet but heard nothing.Ā
You sucked your teeth and crossed your arms, pushing off of the doorway to lean out into the street. āLanmou!ā You raised your voice in that maternal tone that struck fear into the hearts of children everywhere. When nothing came of it, the edges of worry began to seep into your frustration and your heart skipped a beat.Ā
You bit your lip, turning on your heel to go back inside when you finally heard it; the angelic sound of fluttering. You let out the breath that you were holding and turned around with a scowl, seeing Lanmouās big brown eyes shine as she landed in front of you.
āManman.ā The girl sheepishly greeted, āMwen regret saā¦ā Her puppy dog look rivaled yours at her age and as you opened your mouth to scold her, she put her hands behind her back with a sly smile that was every bit of her father. āI brought you a present, mama.āĀ
You raised a brow as she turned her head to look back at her hands, the white beads you put in her braids clicking and clacking, then with a big, toothless, grin presented you with a beautiful multicolored conch shell, small enough for a hermit crab.Ā
A smile broke through your scowl and you couldnāt help the joy that filled you at your babyās gift. You took it from her and pretended to inspect it, āYou are late, ch'Ćŗupalo' k'aas.ā You muttered with a mocking glare, āBad girl, but since you brought me this beautiful shell then I must forgive you.ā
āYou must!ā Lanmou echoed with a giggle, flying the short distance up the porch steps and wrapping her arms around your neck and her little legs around your waist. You laughed with her and returned her embrace, twirling her in a circle.
āAla yon bĆØl fanmi,ā An unfamiliar voice interrupted the sweet moment and you lifted your head from Lanmouās, āAnd such a special girl.ā
You clutched your child to your body, your eyes narrowing into a glare. It was a black woman, but she wasnāt from Danbriga, and her English had an accent to it that you couldnāt place. Her creole was perfect, at least damn near, and she was wearing a yellow sundress and glasses, her hair locked in small dreads.Ā
āKi moun ou ye?ā You questioned, taking a step back as she took a step closer to your porch. āWhat do you want?ā
The woman kindly smiled, nodding her head as she pressed her hand to chest, āMwen se-!ā
āIn English.ā You interjected, still holding your baby close to you.Ā
āOf course,ā She nodded again with a smile, āMy name is Jean, I am from Ayiti. Iām a student doing a paper on the strange happenings in water towns like this one-!ā
āLala,ā You muttered into your daughterās ear, managing a smile as you put her down, āWalk into the house for me, okay? Iāll be right there.āĀ
Lanmou obeyed withoutĀ a word, slowly padding into the house and shutting the screen door behind her.Ā
āIāve heard tales here about SĆØpan dlo a? Iāve been told he was spotted in Danbriga multiple times and is involved with the suspected drownings of many men from your village. They said I should come to you for some answers-!ā
You let out a sigh, taking a few steps toward the woman and lowering your voice. āLook,ā You started, āI donāt know what fanciful story the people in town told you about me or my daughter, but she is a mutant, okay? Different. And anything different around here is considered demonic or supernatural but I assure you itās all lies.ā
āSo the fact that your daughter matches his description is just-!ā
āLies.ā You hissed before calming yourself, āAll of it. Now if youāre so obsessed with myths and legends, there is a nice beach about ten minutes from here. It has pretty white sand and clear water, maybe youāll see a mermaid or something.ā You mocked, turning your back on the woman and opening your screen door to go inside.Ā
āEllis Robateau said that he saw you with him.ā
You paused and gripped the wood of the screen door, the door that Ellis had put in himself. āEllis Robateau is a liar.ā You muttered, not turning around, āHe has a grudge against me and would say anything to smear my name. Now please, leave.ā
āIām sorry but I canāt do that.āĀ
You shut your screen door and your heavy front door, locking both locks and taking a deep breath. āLala,ā You called, going to the dining table and grabbing both of your plates, āIām heating up dinner, itāll be done in a few minutes.ā
You pressed a couple buttons on the microwave and nervously fiddled with the shell Lanmou had brought you earlier. You retrieved one of the plates and replaced it with the other, yelling over your shoulder, āLala!ā
When you heard nothing in response again, you walked out of the front room and down the hallway to her room, only to find it empty. āLani?ā You called out again, peeking into the bathroom. āLanmou!ā
Panic filled you as you ran from room to room in your tiny home, peeking under beds, looking in closets, and screaming your childās name. It was your worst nightmare come true, the reason you made her come home before the lights came on, why you didnāt like her to go into town.Ā
āHELP!ā You screeched, running to the front door and ripping it open, āSomebody, help me! My baby-!ā
Before you could get out the words, your vision went black.
š š š
You were on a beach in a memory, hazy but illuminated by the moonlight. The waves of the water lapped at your bare legs and as you heard the sweet words of your lover you were transported back, as if you never left the promise of whispered words and sweet nothings.Ā
āWhatās it like? Under there?ā You heard your own voice as you looked into the brown eyes of The Water Serpent.
The smile that graced his lips was teasing, as always. āJatsāuts, in preciosa. Just as you are.ā
You smiled back, as his fingers traced your lips. āWhat does that mean?ā
āBeautiful.ā He breathed back to you, replacing his fingers with his own lips. You huffed out a laugh and kissed him back, sliding the hand from his chest to the back of his neck.Ā
āJatsāuts.ā You mimicked over his lips, your skin burning as he nuzzled his nose against yours.
āMaāalob.ā He praised, he pecked the side of your mouth, āQuick learner.ā
āMaybe youāre a good teacher,ā You teased back, his bare chest shaking in a chuckle against yours, āMaybe you can teach me to be a better swimmer.ā
Namorās smile was mocking, his canines sharp as he held your body closer to his, āI could teach you whatever you wanted.ā His large hands groped the globes of your ass, his fingers teasingly fluttering against your tight hole.
āBondye mwen,ā You gasped out a laugh in protest, āIām being serious-!ā
āAs am I.ā He protested back with a badly faked frown, āDeadly serious about the possibility of you allowing me to feast on a fruit unknown to any man before me.ā
You laughed again, shaking your head as your face flushed, āYouāre filthy.ā
āAnd youāre delicious. Turn around for me, my love.ā
Your eyes fluttered open and you sat up quickly, your chest heaving as you took in your surroundings. You were in a cell, though it wasnāt like any cell you had seen in movies. It had a plush bed and almost looked like a studio apartment if it wasnāt for the purple bars blocking your exit.
āLani?ā You called out, blinking your vision into focus. āLanmou?ā
āSheās eating lunch right now.āĀ
Your head snapped to the bars and your eyes widened as you saw a woman that you had only seen before on the small screen of your television. Not having met royalty before, you quickly rose to your feet and bowed your head, swallowing thickly.
The queen was not impressed with your stumbling and she waved the pleasantries away, āYou know who I am, then?ā
You nodded, looking up from your awkward bow and taking in the queenās purple gown, jewels and black headpiece. āYes maāam I do. But I donāt know what my daughter and I have done for you to-!ā
āNamor.ā The queen interrupted you, spitting the name out as if it were poison.Ā
Your mind went to Jean, that college student snooping around your home and your blood ran cold. āCan you bring me my daughter, please?ā You asked steadily, your hands bunching into fists against your dirtied white dress.Ā
āYour daughter is his.ā Queen Ramonda continued as if you hadnāt spoken, āHe has taken my daughter.ā
āPlease,ā You begged through your teeth, tears beginning to burn at the corners of your eyes, āPlease bring me my daughter-!ā
āOne of my generals came up with the idea of a trade-!ā
āNO!ā You screamed, running up to the bars that separated the two of you, āNo, you donāt understand, he isnāt⦠he doesnāt-!ā
The removed look on Queen Ramondaās face faltered and her eyes softened, if for a moment. āHe doesnāt know of the child?ā
āLanmou,ā You corrected with a sniffle, āHer name is Lanmou and he doesnāt know. Sheās never met her father and I donāt even know if heā¦ā You choked, swallowing thickly as tears finally spilled from your cheeks, āHe was supposed to come back, he said heād come back.ā You hiccuped, hastily wiping your face, āIām sorry about your daughter, I really am, but there has to be another way-!ā
The sound of urgent beeping interrupted your pleading and you watched the queen raise her wrist up and inspect black beads that were blinking with light. The queen spared you another glance before walking away, making you grip the bars and stare after her.
You cried out and crumpled to the ground, wrapping your arms around yourself.Ā
It was a little while before the Queen came back and when you looked up from your place on the floor you saw that your daughter was not with her.Ā
āStand up, miss.ā Her steady words urged you and you did, picking yourself up off the floor and cautiously meeting her eyes. āYou have been strong,ā She complimented with a nod of her head as the purple bars vanished from between the two of you, āRaising your daughter by yourself.ā
āPleaseā¦ā You rasped, dried tears on your cheeks.
āI will not let harm come to you or her. You have my word. All I need you to do, from one mother to another, is help me get my daughter back. That is all I ask.ā
āIāll do it.ā You answered without question nor thought. āJust let me see her before we go and Iāll do anything you want me to.ā
Thereās a happy ending to, because the robbery was unsuccessful, the couple ended up getting the money Eden needed from a movie inspired by em! Also John only had to serve part of his sentence. Check out their wedding photos btw theyāre beautiful.
