this is insanely racist and I haven't even seen much about this online yet
after Bad Bunny won they added a Latin song category and after Rosé got three nominations the grammys added a k-pop/c-pop/j-pop category they have always been afraid of well-performing artists of color challenging white artists in mainstream categories
Reblog if you are a human rights extremist who believes that all humans are equal and has no sense of loyalty to nation states.
Straight man: *says insanely misogynist shit*
The tolerant left: are you gay? I bet you are gay. I bet you like men. I bet you like sucking cock and taking it up the ass.
*puts on hero cape* actually I would have no problem fucking that woman. This misogynist homo says she has no value because he wouldn't fuck her. But I would.
Does anyone have this picture
But it’s a parody of Master and Commander’s opening title
I swear I have seen this before and I cannot for the life of me find it
This image?
YES
PNG'D! (i didn't know the font so this is taken directly from the image)

a single trans woman asserting her womanhood has done more to 'abolish the gender binary' than 10,000 cis women refusing to wear makeup or shave ever will.
I think this post has found it's way to some twerf dipshits so let me just say: I hope all twerfs die painfully mad and painfully bitter. Mad and bitter over the fact that my mere existence, as a single trans woman, is more threatening to the patriarchal world order than the entire sum total of 'radical feminism' & it's dipshit disciples will ever hope to be. One million reactionary twerf shit-for-brains losers can't compete with one newly out trans girl trying on a skirt for the first time. Trans women are, objectively, doing more to abolish the patriarchy then twerfs ever will. It's not even close.
Please, please, please die mad about it. The sooner the better.
"Dogwhistles" are called that based on real "dog whistles", many of which are pitched too high to be audible to most humans, but are still perfectly audible to dogs.
Rhetorical dogwhistles are things that most people would not be able to identify as bigoted because they're INTENDED to have plausible deniability.
The wording changes are meant to be subtle enough that people really can mix them up accidentally when they don't have much information!
So when the gender critical movement calls trans women "transwomen", they're hoping for 2 things.
this usage will spread enough among people who don't know any better, to give transphobes the plausible deniability of not LOOKING like a frothing bigot constantly.
the usage grammatically places trans women in a different category than other women; it's changing "trans" from an adjective to part of a noun to make this distinction.
The more we can avoid this usage, the less deniability have transmisogynists have when using it, and the less we are helping their cause.
I don't actually think ceding this ground is LESS divisive than pointing it out politely.
everything is getting worse and thats why it's SO so important that we have fun and hang out and play and im being serious im being unimaginable amounts of serious
I think all of us that let the idea that it's "cringe" to hate on christians gain any traction, let alone become the mainstream, deserve more than a little blame for how conservative things have gotten over the last 10 years. Like, I'm not saying it's entirely to blame. But good god it sure helped it along.
We should have all hated on christians a lot harder. The good news is that its not too late to start.
Maybe there are "good christians" out there. But I don't think I've ever met one. Because every single one of the christians that paints themselves as "the good ones" always maintains this "no true scotsman" attitude towords Christianity. Instead of accepting that their religion has been monstrously evil for 2,000 years, and is responsible for the majority of the world's most horrific crimes against humanity for that entire time, including mass forced converstion, war, torture, countless genocides, pretty much all of the world's queerphobia, and 400 years of colonization, they just dissmiss all of it as being done by people who "weren't true christians." Absolving themselves and their religion of any guilt or responsibility. Which is an even more heinous thing to beleive for those "good christians" that are fucking Anglican and Catholic!
Queer people do not need to get into norse gods, queer people need dialectical materialism.
To be entirely honest I find the idea that queer people need spirituality at all quite insulting, and the unfortunately widespread insistence that there's some metaphysical spiritual element to queerness is rather counterproductive and (to put it bluntly) really fucking annoying.
Actually I don't think I should learn to "agree to disagree" with people that want me dead
"Teach a man how to fish... 🤓" and the fuck are they supposed to do with that information if they're too poor to even eat, let alone buy a fishing rod?? Teach them to fish, GIVE them enough fish and GIVE them a rod, line and hook instead of being a smug piece of shit
I should like. Collect together all my stories over the last few years. The 6 month strike by delivery drivers against a 25% paycut while the CEO gave himself an 1000% payrise. The peasants getting kicked off their land in Honduras, showing me the place a two members of the community, a husband and wife, were shot in broad daylight by an assassin. The farm worker and her children in Huelva living in a shanty made out of old polytunnels, collecting green rain water to drink using plastic stained with agrichemicals. The shanty town that the farmer burned down when he was done with the workers for the year. The GPS trackers fixed to workers to make sure they didn't leave the farm and break their visa conditions, a union organiser described them as the shackles of 21st century slavery. The UK farm workers who went on strike on their farm, got dumped at an airport, and then got trapped in the asylum system for years. The massacre on the Moroccan border by the police when migrants made a charge at the fence. The shanty town in Manila being demolished to make way for a casino, the community's resistance slowly broken by police executions and placing the organisers under a 24 hour watch. The army occupation of peasant communities resisting eviction. The massacre by the army in Negros of sugar workers and international visitors visiting a collective farm that the workers had set up because they weren't being given the land titles the government had promised them. The death of Sabah Dinah, a tomato picker in a massive Moroccan agribusiness, on the picket line in the second month of a strike against union busting at her farm. She was 30 years old, gave 9 years of her life to the company, and left behind four children aged between 3 and 12. They will be between 16 and 7 now. I wonder how they are doing. I wonder how they are all doing.
Some of the scraps I have to hand. Here are some articles and photos from the Just Eat couriers strike. Here are peasants in Guaimaca, Honduras, facing land grabs by the owner of the local gas station. Here is the worker holding up the green water she has to drink in Huelva. Here is a webinar I did following the visit to Huelva, there's lots in there but I speak about the GPS trackers and the burned shanty town around 27 minutes in. Here are photos from the farm worker protests in the UK, you can see some videos here. A contribution my colleague made at the memorial to the Melilla massacre that we attended in 2023. San Roque in Manila and their fight against demolitions. The struggle of the Bulacan Farmers Association in San Jose Del Monte against land grabs and militarisation. A friend of mine got to the site of the massacre in Negros and is currently making a film about the murders. The strike at Azura where Sabah died in 2021-22. And I'm conscious as I am writing about this this is only the surface, that there are more stories that I am missing here. I will get them all together
When I was a little boy, girls used to just do random cartwheels for no reason. Then one day, they stopped. Now that I am a man, no women randomly do cartwheels. This is because society is evil and killed the cartwheel impulse in their soul. They don't even spin horizontally anymore. It's fucked up.
Headstrong into battle.
