I mean, both are bodies who are controlled by a soul that wants them to do things they don't want to do.
Like I can imagine a story where they rip out their souls for a nice yet chaotic date as their souls try to return to their bodies.

Asian Folklore: Towering skeletons that eat people's heads, hoards of ravenous dog-like beasts with shoulder eyes, a severed head with organs attached.
American Folklore: A corpse with an exposed heart, a living hide that eats people, a spade-headed alien with toxic gasses, the embodiment of hunger and cannibalism.
African Folklore: The dead rising from their graves, blood sucking men that become fireflies, a cave sized serpent with an elephant's head, a man-eating basket with a hyena-like body.

With Aztec Batman released, I kinda wanna see more of the Justice League in this world. Here are some ideas.
Incan Wonderwoman: With how far up the Incan Empire was, it could mirror Themyscira in a way with isolation.
Mayan Martian Manhunter: The Mayans were known a excellent astronomers, only makes sense to put the Martian there.
Iroquois Superman: or Haudenosaunee Superman, according to Wikipedia they founded between 1142 to 1660. Going with the former, since Metropolis is a New England City, I feel he should be here.
Pawnee Flash: The Plains Tribes had huge amounts of land since they are in what is now the mid-west. Don't you think the speedster would fit well here?
Hawaiian Aquaman: I had to for obvious ocean reason.
Inuit Green Lantern: Honestly, this one was a last-minute thought but I kinda feel it works. The Top of the world, like the bottom, has long nights. Dark nights. Darkest Nights.
These are just a few ideas but I wanna try to expand this DC Elseworlds Universe a bit.
Adding to this, I would also add that I was thinking of having reps for non-American indigenous peoples like the Sami, Ainu, and Australian Aboriginals.

Speaking of Olmec, Black Adam (and to an extent Shazam) are that. Billy Batson would be of Purepecha origin while Wizard Shazam and the power are of Olmec.
Green Arrow: I wanted to expand past the well-known tribes/peoples and decided to go with the Omagua for Green Arrow. Like a lot of the peoples of the Amazon area, The Omagua are masterful archers.
Black Canary: One of my favorite interpretations of the character is the first Canary of Arrowverse, an outsider who fits right in. So, for Dinah, I chose Sami. Being a group from Europe, they could easily aid in the outsider aspect.
Red Tornado: Okay, I am gonna be honest, I am a sucker for Red Tornado. Massive fan. However, finding a good fit for them is gonna be hard. I decided to go with Puebloan for the fact of "Red Clay Hard Building."
Cyborg: I wanted to choose a group from Africa for Cyborg, not only to give Cyborg his rightfully origin but also shine a light on Indigenous Africans. For him, I chose Ogiek, a group found in Kenya.
Zatanna/Zatara: Ainu. I kinda forgot my reasoning....
