I feel like it really says something about the disconnect between tumblr staff and tumblr's userbase that matt made a post asking to "put together a board of the top Tumblristas in the world," had it reblogged by one of the biggest zionists on this site, and then had the staff account reblog it.......

like!! we don't need "top Tumblristas". first of all it's Tumblrinas secondly the term they're actually looking for is "tumblr famous," which has established connotations. and they're bad. you don't want to be tumblr famous and you don't get on tumblr to try to be tumblr famous.

second.... I made a post about things I would like to see from tumblr, posted it UNTAGGED, and it got 10K notes in TWO HOURS!!!!!!!!!!
