This Wandering Day - Megan Richards
Ok so the thing about reading like books which are “predictable” is that I, a story enjoyer, go completely bonkers about it bc its like Enrichment in my Enclosure. A scene parallels another earlier scene between different characters thus serving to highlight the differences in their views and priorities???? A line makes me think “hmmm I bet that’s gonna be relevant later” ends up being relevant later????? I am a tiger chewing ice cubes out of a pumpkin. I’m so so happy. Please foreshadow more things. Throw the completely anticipateable plot beats at me like catnip mousies!!!!!
YEAH!!!!!!
When I see a rifle on the wall, I want to see that rifle being fired! I’m literally on the sidelines shouting “Chekov! The gun! Get the gun, Chekov!”
it's been threatening to rain all afternoon black clouds thunder the WORKS and it just rained for 3 minutes. lightly. I. why is the sky edging.
'bear in mind' well yes there are bears in my mind. hibernating and eating berries and hunting for salmon and such, etc etc
reblog this post to give your followers an ancient cypriot boar figurine
genuinely terrifying how adhd will have you be fully aware of the responsibilities you’re neglecting and yet its like you’re being piloted by a super chill hedonistic demon who can’t hear you/doesnt care
“We need to get this paperwork done yesterday, its REALLY important”
“Brah. I feel you but like, you’re harshing my mellow, can’t work with a harshed mellow”
Also the key difference between this and “laziness” is that it doesn’t corelate whatsoever to the difficulty of a task. the thing you’re supposed to do can be easy or even fun and putting it off can feel miserable and even painful. You can sit there feeling sore and sick from not getting up yet and your body still sits in place. You can hate the tv series you put on and keep clicking “next episode.” Sometimes what you needed to do was make one phone call and instead you do grueling yard work or household cleaning for hours that didn’t need done thinking about the phone call until it’s too late to do it.
please read the best twitter story i’ve seen all week
bringing this back because it becomes possibly funnier the second (third forth) time around

Dogs playing a game. Rules are a mystery
for anyone curious both dogs are wanting to chase the other so they keep saying imma get you in dog body language to initiate one of them to take off but neither one wants to be the chase-ee so it’s just spin time babeey
