Welp.
Hey, real talk though? If you're in the USA, right now you need to call your representatives. 11.8 million people could lose health insurance because of this, as well as a lot of other shit going down, so speak up.
Go to 5calls.org, put in your location, and make the calls. Do it after business hours if you're worried about actually to a person, but do it.
We're running out of chances with this, please please do this now, while it's still possible to stop this.
To add on why this bill is bad besides millions losing healthcare and likely their lives:
Cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and more will harm the community.
Cuts to SNAP alongside defunding Planned Parenthood is still on the bill. If you're trans in the states, Planned Parenthood is the one organization around the country that has bare minimum knowledge about your body. Defending it alongside Medecaid (because rural hospitals can be underfunded and shut down) will impact everyone no matter their insurance coverage.
Please contact your reps, specifically your congress rep as the vote goes back to the house

@secondbeatsongs do you mind if I ask what exactly I'm supposed to say when I call? Its not like I can tell them not to vote for it, because that's already done. Right?
As of right now (07/02/2025, 6:45pm ET), the house still needs to vote on it again. So, yes, call your representatives, and tell them to vote no!
