(It was made months ago) Rare item While holding this shield, you have a +1 bonus to AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC. The shield can be deployed or stowed as a free action, requiring an empty hand when deployed. When stowed the item retracts onto the wielder's forearm, and can be worn over any gauntlets, bracers or other such items. In this state the item does not require a free hand. The item only provides bonus AC when it is deployed. Otherwise it is just an inactive magic item. The item itself functions mechanically, so dispelling magic only removes the +1 bonus. The shield continues to operate unless destroyed. Description: The shield features several runic inscriptions providing it it's magical effect. When deployed the shield's support arms form the runic symbol for protection, Algiz. ( ᛉ ) The shield itself is made from assorted light metals allowing for the mechanism to operate, while retaining the weight of a normal shield. (The item has the same weight regardless of its state.) The shield can be deployed and stowed how the player wishes.
