alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.

we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem to) view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

This is one of those days that I'd like to be able to "take a house in the country" for a couple weeks...say a place called St Mary Mead. Have a semi-surly housekeeper to dust and cook and bring me afternoon tea in the morning room or the parlor which is filled with plants, books, an old phonograph, slouchy comfortable furniture, and a piano. Have a back terrace and lawn chairs to recline and watch the birds or take in the sea breeze. Wear a pretty light floral dress with a lace collar and sensible shoes. Listen to the church bells and walk through the quaint little village, stopping to buy bread and homemade jam from a fete stall and agree that the sunshine is so nice today but we still need rain. Join the little old sweet and innocent ladies gossiping about the new inhabitants of Wealthy Family Hall and nod sagely, that yes, they surely do seem suspicious. Bicycle down a country lane. Note the time of random gunshots and idly speculate that someone is hunting out of season. Be interviewed by a Very Handsome Policeman who happens to be single and darkly, mysteriously brooding, as if there is a tragedy in his past. Walk through a graveyard and pet a spaniel or sleepy cat. Smile and nod at the clergyman. Wonder if anything is going on at the WI tonight. *sigh*
