Ice cold takes from a Transgender Woman:
Men are not inherently Evil
Everyone has the capacity for evil
Transgender Men are men
Transgender Women are women
Excluding Cisgender Men from your spaces requires Transgender Men to out themselves if they want to engage (Same for Women)
Anyone can be Non-Binary, there is no "look" or requirement
Non-binary masculine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces, many are just treated as men and predators
Non-binary feminine presenting people should be welcome in queer spaces without being seen as "Woman-Lite"
Edited the wording on the first point because too many terfs keep thinking I'm their friend.
Bringing back my most popular post for 2026 cause y'all still need it.
Public transport is a type of horse and I'm a teenage girl who no one understands
The bus fucking bit me
Always bear in mind that there is absolutely no legitimate evidence that Luigi was actually the one who killed the insurance company guy.
Of course he wasn't. He was at a party with me that day.
No but like literally, actually. All bits aside.
He didn't do it.
The cops very clearly planted evidence on him because they had to make an arrest because all eyes were on them and whoever actually did the deed was making them look stupid.
Why would the real killer hero have kept the weapon on his person and traveled two states over while carrying it and a manifesto in his bag, conveniently turning the crime into a federal matter? The same guy whose bag they found in a park, filled with monopoly money? Why did the police turn off their bodycams, take Luigi's stuff, drive a block away, turn their bodycams back on, go back into the restaurant, and then arrest him?
From the moment of his arrest, even left-of-center media has been presuming his guilt without examining anything (e.g. calling him "the killer" instead of "alleged" or "accused") and then when I say he didn't do it, the nearest person chimes in with some quip that tells me they think he did do it but should go free anyway. Don't get me wrong, I would have the same attitude if he had done it. But he didn't. It makes me feel like the only sane person in the world, even among my staunchly leftist friends.
Inspired by a discussion of public transit

Recently, I made the long trek down to Westerly, Rhode Island an order to find this abandoned military installation. According to Wikipedia, it was built during the Spanish-American war and decommissioned somewhere around 1912 when it was determined to be vulnerable to attack from the other side of the bay. By 1916 it was completely abandoned. It's now part of a nature preserve that includes a beautiful public beach. The area around it is known as watch Hill, there is also a lighthouse visible from the beach.
I knew the hike out to this location was going to be long from reviews I read online. It actually ended up being much more difficult than I was led to believe. Reaching the end of the point after meandering down the beach taking lots of photos along the way, I could see on my map that it was right next to me but could not find the overgrown path. Eventually, after some climbing and poking around, I found an overgrown path that had been washed out in a minor landslide. Jackpot?
After climbing up and finding the top landing, I found that the entire area was fenced off. Luckily for me it was a low fence and I was able to get my camera up and around to snap plenty of pictures. If the fort itself didn't look so decayed and decrepit, I may have changed climbing down into it. The view from above was stunning however. Not only did I get pictures of the graffiti and the crumbling doorways and empty gun turrets, I got some beautiful shots of the landscape and the sea around it. My favorite shots are the one that includes pictures of the landscape along with pictures of the decaying fort - hence the title chaos and beauty.
I will add more pictures to the media section.
