The Simpsons AU where Homer is in pain
annoying when shows set in the medieval period have the women with thier hair just long and unstyled and out . girl go put on your wimple girl š¤¦āāļø
like there are so many fun medieval hair and headgear options, it's so boring just seeing loose beachy waves meant to appeal to 21st century beauty standards
put that hot prince in a gay little hood with an ostrich feather or so help me god
nvm iāve said too much #unknowme
Did a bunch of OC Charts today instead of drawing :] Highly recommend

Taking up Japanese as a side project for myself has reminded me of something.
So like a long time ago I had a professor that I absolutely adored. She happened to be Japanese American. She grew up speaking Japanese at home but never really spent a lot of time in Japan. She mostly spoke with other Japanese Americans and read books.
So one day early in her teaching career thereās an exchange student from Japan whoās having a hard time understanding a concept so she explained it to him in Japanese and then he looked absolutely rattled. Like in shock. Pale.
This is how she learned that the way she speaks Japanese makes her sound like a gang member.
Japanese doesnāt exactly have cuss words in the same way as English does but imagine that the nicest professor youāve ever had pulls your paper over and says āOkay listen here you little piece of shit Iām gonna fucking explain this to you. Violently.ā
This (studying in Chile for a year) is more or less how I realized my two PhD-having, tenured professor expat parents raised me to speak the most disrespectful and swearword-riddled version of Spanish possible (with plenty of ancient slang I didn't know was slang thrown in). It was like:
i hope everything works out in the end because i am so so scared
got too drunk last night and granted someone a boon
Herding sheep, looking after kids, and playing healer in videogames: every day you're surprised of the sheer innovative genius of how they'll find the most inconvenient goddamn places just outside your reach to get hurt or put themselves in lethal danger.
Isnāt this sheep in real life?
Children in real life also.
It. It literally did. That was literally precisely the point.
I have no idea how the hell I could possibly express myself more clearly.
The humble Oxford comma
IT'S LITERALLY RIGHT THERE.

this morning i got a spam call that just played clown waiting music for a few seconds and then hung up on me. which really pissed me off a lot
looking for a job and hoping for a callback only to get clownrolled is insane
āwhat time do you get off?ā well thatās not really any of your business now is it
poking at Ur hand with my nose to get you to pet me
you're going to try and bite it aren't you?
im not gonna lie i will straight up be biting it yes
my worst habit as a writer is that i lovveeeeee to expand on families as character and worldbuilding but then i have to sit here like. is there any possible way for me to introduce "has an aunt whos a postal worker and single mother trying to bounce back from a recent divorce' into the narrative. can i naturally drop my aunt lore. its important to me.
"i ate too many cookies" is truly an ageless problem. an unlearnable lesson.
Everyone envies me for my shrimp lighter
