These dudes are fucking legit.  They don’t just show up one day in court, either, they actually make friends with the kids and let them know they have a support system and that there are people in the world who care about them and will always have their back.  And less important, but also cool, is that the few times a couple of them have come into my cafe, they’ve been super friendly and polite and when I told one of the guys that I noticed his Bikers Against Child Abuse patch and wanted him to know how awesome I thought he was because of it, he got kind of shy and blushed and said, “The kids are the awesome ones, we just let them know they’re allowed to be brave.”

My Dysphoria.

Dysphoria to me is like being born with a tattoo. You hate this tattoo, but it is permanent and it’s never going to go away. You wake up every morning and see the tattoo, when you shower you are forced to wash the tattoo, stare at the skin. Your parents love the tattoo though, they say that you’re lucky to have it and that other people would kill to have a tattoo like yours. You try to hide your tattoo under multiple layers of clothing, but sometimes the clothing shifts around and everyone realizes you have a tattoo. Maybe you start talking to someone and they have no idea you have a tattoo. You’re forced to tell them eventually, it’s apart of you. Yeah, sure, you can spend loads of money to get the tattoo removed, but not until you’re old enough to leave the house. Your parents don’t want you to get rid of the tattoo. Your significant other doesn’t care about your tattoo, they claim that they’ll love you no matter what you look like, but you’re still not convinced. The pain, the suffering, that horrible tattoo causes you is unbearable. You can’t help, but imagine your body tattoo free, get jealous when you see other people with tattoos they love. But you’re stuck with your tattoo.

There is a deep problem in our society that this is what people are styling children to look like. They don’t look like children, they look like young adults.
