i used to be 'grape-soda-and-impish-behaviour' because i was drinking grape soda a lot and one of my main ocs at the time was called imp then i deactivated and came back as 'soda-imp' cause it was shorter yet still matched my purple theme and mood ^^
and then i changed it to 'soda-sprite' because my theme was sort of greenish with a fairycore vibe to it and my mood was more 'spritely' but i still liked soda and also still wanted to be recognisable to my moots so i kept the soda bit and i haven't changed it since!! :D
i've been thinking of changing it to soda-pop [what some of my moots call me and also the 'pop' bit matches my party theme] though... unsure! :]
Okay, so my real username wasn't actually supposed to be potatoanarchist, I made that up on a whim and I have a mind to change it. It was supposed to be Xaosix, and for a very personal reason.
To keep it as simple as possible for you, someone I knew died a while back. I had known them for my entire life--seriously, they were around since I was a baby. We had a nickname for them and that's why the six that's apart of my username. I'm not specifying what the nickname was.
The other part of my username is a reference to my mom's name. No, her name doesn't start with X. It starts with J, but I've decided to keep it as X to make a little XO sort of w/ the Xaosix. In case you can't see it

If I end up changing my user or online name twenty times and twenty times again, this is something that will always remain the same. It just...hits a bit different when people call me that instead of potato.
As for potatoanarchist...yeah, the reason is a tad sad, too. I've had this...mentality for the past few years that has proven to be incredibly detrimental. And I've always tried to get rid of it, like an anarchist would their government, but it's always felt too small. Like a potato. But then I smiled and got the idea that maybe I could make somebody smile with that username, a small thing ( a potato ) lightening their mood ( anarchist ). So I kept it.
You'll soon notice a lot of the decisions I make are born from personal experiences/ideas.

So, Maki is just in general a very common nickname in my country. People have always called me Maki. In fact, it's very likely that people here are going to call you that if your name starts on M. However, Tumblr did not let me to use just Maki for my username. Therefore, I just put something random as well which happens to be the wizard for some reason and went: "Nah, it doesn't matter much. My username was completely random lavender isn't even my favourite flower. when I joined tumblr I was listening to lavender haze on Spotify which completely defines why I chose this username also I wanted the same alphabet adjective so I chose to add lovely to it

Firstly there are so many cool and amazing ways ai can be used and is being used in film and honestly some of it is incredible, I do recommend you checking it out if youâre interested. But these are *not* ChatGPT or shit like that, itâs models that are designed and trained very specifically that donât steal art etc.
The person said if you needed a really simple shot, I highly doubt that if youâre already making a film in when youâre gonna have at least a multiple day shoot it would be so so so much easier to just film the âsimple shotâ if it truly is simple, like ai in film is almost exclusively used for the most complicated things because simple things thereâs no point.
Iâd be curious what they define as a simple shot because any shot that would look as good with ai as filmed for real is easy enough to film for real anyway, like you donât need a big production crew if youâre just doing a simple shot, and if it would require the whole crew then itâs probably gonna look bad if done with ai.
Also the way ai is used in film you donât do entire shots or frames with ai, you put it on top of a real plate, and itâs planned in advance to get the best looking shot for the ai to make the best looking effect on top so even if you wanted to use ai youâd still need the whole crew for it to actually be a good shot - cause if you just generate a random shot with an ai where the whole thing is Ai it will not be the directorâs vision nor the editorâs, it wonât match the rest of the film in different ways, and it will look clearly different especially if the rest of the shots are real (Iâm sorry Ai fans but no matter how good Ai gets itâs still pretty obvious, especially if itâs amongst a bunch of real footage)
Also thereâs the legal issues, part of the reason films use ai like they do now a days is because it looks better but also because they donât wanna get sued by using ChatGPT that steals art which in the future might have legal ramifications. Where exactly are you getting your training data for this âsimple shotâ, if youâre explicitly finding and training and ai then you need a crew of people so the original point no longer fits, and if youâre using a shit ai off the internet then you might face legal issues down the road, and it will look a lot worse.
Also most film makers and people in that industry consider themselves artists and wouldnât use ai in the way that unfortunately many people do, which is part of the reason I mentioned not knowing exactly what AJ said because ik know heâs a film maker and so what he meant was possibly similar to my own point of view, but then again I donât know
