I hate going through radical feminist tumblr specifically, because every other post is a trans debate. Like, how about we worry about actual issues than impact women and not that 0.1%? And I’m not even talking about whether you’re terf or tirf or whatever else, I just feel like there are way more important issues to discuss than this and this debate shouldn’t be taking up most of the radical feminist conversations when trans people barely have any systemic effect on anything. It seems to me that half are just using radical feminism as an excuse to hate on transgender people rather than discuss other, real systemic issues women face.

The idea of "she dressed that way so she wants it" actually shows how much guilt men carry. Let me explain.

When have you seen a woman insisting that a shirtless or attractive man is doing it for attention? When have you seen a woman desperately asserting that "he wants me to look! He wants us to!"

When faced when an attractive, shirtless, or scantily clad man, most women just say "Wow. Hot."

Never have I seen a woman trying to reassure herself that a man totally wants to be looked at.

So why do men feel such guilt over their arousal that they desperately rush to reassure themselves and pass the shame onto the woman?

It's because men as whole are incapable of separating sexuality from violence and degradation. They know that they're predatory. They know how sexually violent they are.

They aren't "just looking" and enjoying an attractive person, as women do, they're imagining all sorts of violent and degrading scenarios and instantly feeling a wave of much-deserved shame in response.

But realizing that would require self-awareness, and we know that nothing terrifies men more than having to reflect on themselves or hold themselves accountable, so they simply project on the woman, insist that everything is her fault and she's totally trying to torment him, and they block out anyone who attempts to question their line of thinking.

Took my friends daughter (2.5yrs) to the park. Dressed her in practical clothing that's ok to get stained, brought an extra change of clothing. She sat in the mud at the water bank and played with rocks and mud. A little girl came over, couldn't be more than 3yrs. She was looking longingly at my friend's daughter. She has her hair in a perfect style and she's wearing a pretty dress with white socks and dressy shoes. The parents say "Sweetie don't go into the mud, you'll get your dress dirty" and pull her away, while giving me a judgmental look as they see the kid in my charge covered in mud and throwing rocks into the water. It felt really weird, like we saw eachother as aliens with completely different ideas on how to raise children. When my friends daughter was done playing, changed her into clean clothing and went back home. She had a lot of fun at the park and a day full of nature and play. The other little girl kept her dress clean.

It's valid to be les4les or bi4bi, but I think if a bi woman said she doesn't date lesbians and gave a lesbophobic reason why it'd be fine to call her lesbophobic. It's not like anyone is actually asking out or rejecting anyone, it's a conversation about general attitudes really.

It's often compared to the conversation around transwomen, but I don't think that's fair. Transwomen are men, so anybody not attracted to men can't be attracted to them regardless of their personal attitudes. The reason one is uninterested in lesbians or in bisexual women would generally have to do with their experiences or beliefs.
