Younger people, one thing I want you to understand about Millenials is that, overall, our parents taught their daughters to aim for careers and employment, but they didn't teach their sons to keep house. This causes a whole lot of Situations.
As a culture we NEED to start viewing “providing for your family” as more than just making money. Providing a clean space to live in (not just the money towards the mortgage/rent but time and effort into cleaning it). Providing prepared food on the table (not just the money for it but the time and effort into buying ingredients and cooking). Providing emotional and physical care.
#not all men ofc but most men will have no problem with their wife working#but if something happens to him and he can’t work but he’s still physically capable of getting some chores done while she’s at work#will he???? is that a bridge too far for him? will he take on non cleaning responsibilities like food shopping?#like house management and paying bills? like cooking which can be equally seen as manly a la celebrity chefs?
