CHRISTIANS: *kill millions of Yiddish-speaking Jews, annihilate most Yiddish-speaking communities, burn Yiddish libraries* YOU: "Why would Jews suppress Yiddish so much?"
This is part of the problem as to why Jewish people feel attacked when someone criticizes Israel, because people conflate Jews and Israel. I've never been there, I have no affiliation, yet people want me to, simply because it's a jewish ethno-state.
The things I've spoken about Israel doing to jewish people is not jew on jew violence, it's entirely the doing of a nation's government.
The Israeli government, not the Jewish People as a whole. It's so important to make that distinction, because anti semites will use that conflation, saying that because Israel is doing what they are, that must mean it's the jewish people doing this. We all see people doing this already to justify Jewish hate.
This conflation is what makes us scared, makes us feel loyalty to a nation that we're told is the only true safe place for us.
