Nice place and ideas but the chicken has no spice. It's battered too much, your mostly tasting griddle and fat. The chicken and the batter are barely spiced-really not at all, the chicken itself is just plain. This level of work is the same as a high school cooking class a student would make. Sadly you can tell, the experience here with regards to cooking is very new, there's no understanding here yet of spices. But hopefully with time they will get stronger as their chef(s) get more training. And this particular case, the batter was not fried long enough, it was still partially raw and mostly fat-unspiced fat. This rating of a one star is because their main idea is fried chicken, and that was very high school. I was just THREATENED by the, I'm guessing it was the manager- for double checking an order. I went to pick up an order, and there was no order number on the meal bag to go, but I was told it was correct. Then I looked inside the bag to see the meal, and it was not what was ordered. What WAS ordered was Kraft Beef but what was in the bag looked like FRIES. So I turned to ask if we could please double check the order, and since there was no order page, if we could check on my order number to see what they had. The response I was give was: That's the right order now take it and go, do you f**king work here-NO, NOW TAKE THE ORDER(he yelled) AND GET THE F**K OUT OF HERE. GO OUTSIDE AND F**CK YOURSELF. OKAY CANCEL THE F**KING ORDER THEN. By the last sentence my hand was already opening the door to leave. Of course I had left the fries on the table. This just happened, the employee is at least 5' 10", had an accent that sounds as if he was from Italy, short hair. Another excerpt from my novel coming soon-ish: "I just want a car so I can get the fuck out of this town.", I say to myself walking along Hornby street past the illuminated front/back of the Vancouver art gallery-Gerogia street side. I think this to myself as I look at a partially silouetted mini cooper-with the female driver locking eyes with me for a few moments then looks away and I look back at the lite stone of the gallery flanked by advert banners near the columns. I've continued to walk by; now I'm in front of Bacchus restaurant as the top hatted doorman with tails imposingly struts out of the lobby to guide guests to thei(a car). I've now hit Smithe and Hornby. I wait for the light to change; it's red. (Or at least that's what I planned, it changed before I got to the edge-I continue my smooth walk as I type the text in my phone NotepadKnpad App., trying to keep the phone up to my face and not staring down. :) I finish that line(the one you just read) and realized I've walked past Timmys. So i go back to indulge an earlier thought I didn't write down. I'll go in and get a donut. And that'll probably be my night. Except for the fact im thinking of exporting CSOTP(Cold Side of the Pillow). It's possible to do tonight. I think(to myself), if it's not too big. (I)Would like it to be done when I wake and get up out of bed. I now go in to get a donut before heading home. On this coldish fucking night. Treating myself to lunch at the beach. Service is terrible, got the wrong wine at first so i wondered why it tasted like CP (cat piss). The was good. Best part was being left to my thoughts. #Senova Disgusting!! Filthy, uneducated about products, barely any service given, lazy. No leadership, no organization. It's obvious this place is surviving only because there is nothing else in the area! I could go on. I'd give less stars but there's no option for that! I'd will never eat here.
