My 5 year-old niece's new word that she always uses is "evolved" because of Pokémon. Everything "evolves".
"Auntie, can we evolve the strawberries into popsicles?"
"Auntie, can we evolve my friends into Pokémon?"
"Auntie, I want to evolve into a Pokémon trainer."
(Talking about Blue-Eyes fusing into Ultimate) "It evolved into that one?"
And while that's not really how people use that word, and I answer her with the more common words to model language, she's not really WRONG per se. Also, it makes everything sound more badass. Evolving fruit into sweet frozen treats? Hell yeah. We're transforming those suckers. Leveling them up.

A post got me thinking again about how similar Kaiba and Jonouchi are so I started thinking of Kaiba slowly integrating him into the friend group which led to a silly idea of Anzu holding classes on friendship.
Anzu: "What is something friends do for each other?"
*Yugis hand goes up. She smiles pleasantly.*
Anzu: "Yes, Yugi?"
Yugi: "Help each other."
Anzu: "Very good. Now, what are some ways friends can help each other?"
*Yugi raises his hand again. She nods.*
Yugi: "Stand up for them when they're in trouble."
Anzu: "Excellent. Anyone else?"
*Jonouchi's hand flies up.*
Anzu: (hesitant) "Yes, Jonouchi?"
Jonouchi: "We can stand up for our friend's by pummeling any bullies into the ground!"
Anzu: "Okay, good attempt, but violence isn't always the answer."
*Kaiba's hand goes up.*
Anzu: (swallowing) "Kaiba?"
Kaiba: "We can duel the bully and crush his spirit with a resounding defeat."
Anzu: "That's...not quite..."
Kaiba: "Why? You said violence isn't the answer. I gave you a perfectly non-violent solution."
Anzu: (claps her hands together) "Okay! Why don't we think of some more positive ways to help friends!"
Kaiba: (leans back, grumbles) "This class makes no sense."
Jonouchi: (whispering) "I thought it was a good answer."
Kaiba: (whispering back) "So was yours."
***Later on at lunch***
Jonouchi: (musing) "Violence isn't the answer. But, sometimes, it's the question."
*The group stares for a minute. Kaiba shakes his head.*
Jonouchi: "What? No good?"
Honda: (pats his shoulder) "Why don't you leave the sagely wisdom to the philosopher's, man?"
Noooo, my niece and I started watching DSoD, and I could IMMEDIATELY see her start getting excited over Kaiba (hand-flapping, holding the phone closer, same shit I do)
And she was like, "I want THAT one!"
Me: "No! That's MY husband! I thought you liked Yugi?"
