Bisexuality is feeling attraction to all genders, but in varying or slightly different ways.

Pansexuality is feeling attraction to all genders equally, with no real differnce between each gender.

They are different, and although they overlap, the distinction matters to some of us.

Btw, my original response to this post is old and I don’t technically identify as pan anymore. However, for those that do identify as pan, I stand by them. Your comments are rude and ignorant. I hope you learn the distinction and correct you behaviour in the future.

You can be proud of being bisexual!! I never said you couldn’t! I was proud of being pan when I was! You get the choice to define yourself how you want, and bisexuality does not, and has never excluded trans people.

Your pride in your bisexuality is valid! However, it does not give you the right to redefine anyone else. I was pan, pan is different than bi, even if the terms have changed over the years, and you have no right to correct my identity to the way you think it should be, because it’s mine.

his name is stephen mader and not only did he refuse to shoot, he actively wanted to help the man (ronald ‘rj’ williams) because he could tell that he was only acting out because of mental illness. rj williams was suicidal and holding an unloaded gun and, while mader didn’t shoot him, a fellow officer (ryan kuzma) did and murdered him on the spot. here is the source and here’s to hoping rj williams gets justice
