I think there is something of note to say that Gooseworxs said Jax was their self insert, made him belittle and degrade Gangle while being sexually attracted to her, and made Gangle's torture a fetish scene for themselves and their inflation/balloon animal kink.
I really wish they showed us more of Silco's mental issues ! Because this guy sure is deranged
Getting nearly killed is traumatic, but by the closest person in your life? Adding to that the guilt of accidentally causing the death of so many Zaunites, as well as your sister-in-arms's.
In the show they hinted at us what his mind looks like. The eye, the water, the fear of betrayal. The way he literally kicked a corpse/unconcious person out of frustration.
I can't even imagine how terrifying he must be with his goons. They've been with him since the beginning of the show, and maybe more. They're not loyal like Sevika. It's not about loyalty that they follow him, it's about fear. When the bald tattooed guy was getting questioned by Cait, he refused to answer and said "he'd kill me".
Silco's fear of betrayal turned into manipulation and violence. He threatens and tortures his employees and he manipulates Jinx, until their relationship got borderline incestuous.
He doesn't even shows remorse when a child dies. Or when someone suffers because of him. He wants to be the dominating one, no matter what. In fear to be the one getting bitten, he became the one who bites first.
He's very creepy and twisted. I wish they could've show us more of the real side of him, instead of the composed facade he tries so hard to keep.
Jinx isn't the only one with a personality disorder in my opinion! Bpd usually forms in adulthood after a traumatic event, almost always relating to perceived/actual abandonment, triggers a switch in the brain. The way he treats Jinx is one of the biggest indicators for me that he has it and that Vander trying to kill him is what made it develop. (Also, him having a childhood where he was alone and the betrayal coming from his found family bolsters it for me)
But yeah the way he treats Jinx tells me he has something like BPD. He projects his trauma onto Jinx's relationship with Vi and encourages her symptoms to become worse because its a defense mechanism for him that makes him feel stronger so obviously she needs to do it too, right?
On top of that, he has a very very blatant fear of being abandoned. He values loyalty above all else because he was betrayed, and when he thinks he's lost jinx after the scene with the water tower he has a panic attack and takes it out on that ginger kid by specifically CHOKING him (!!!!)
There's also the fact that he doesn't establish boundaries with Jinx. There's a few explanations i can think of for this. Maybe he wants to avoid unnecessary conflict, maybe he's afraid if he does she will feel rejected and leave, most of what I've seen people say is that he just doesnt care which is less melodramatic than how I read it and very likely lol.

Mercury is politics and the media, having both Gemini and Virgos. Gemini are Birds and virgos are Bug's. Uhm also mercury itself resembles communication so that's why I did the entertainment industry mixed with politics.
