This White Chocolate Peppermint Bark is a delightful holiday treat that combines the creaminess of white chocolate with the refreshing taste of peppermint. It's perfect for gifting or enjoying as a sweet holiday indulgence.
Ingredients: 12 ounces white chocolate, chopped. 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candy canes. 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract. 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/4 cup red and green sprinkles optional.
Instructions: Put parchment paper on one baking sheet and set it aside. Melt the white chocolate in 30-second increments in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in between, until it's smooth and melted. Melt the white chocolate and stir in the vanilla, peppermint, and salt extracts. Using a spatula to spread it evenly, pour the melted white chocolate mixture onto the baking sheet that has been prepared. While the white chocolate is still soft, evenly scatter the optional sprinkles and crushed peppermint candy canes over it. Chill the baking sheet in the fridge for about half an hour, or until the chocolate sets. Use a knife or your hands to break the bark into pieces after it has hardened. To give as gifts, wrap the White Chocolate Peppermint Bark in festive bags or store it in an airtight container.
