Okay so I think we can all agree that Sandy will be one of the new marriage candidates for 1.7 and while it probably will be the wizard as the other one….

THERES A CHANCE IT MIGHT BE MR QI!!! let me explain, so every candidate has had a rival (Harvey and Maru, Elliot and Leah, Shane and Emily, etc…) and assuming they do this as well for these new candidates it just doesn’t really make sense for the wizard and Sandy to be together, I mean they never interact in game or mention one another so for them to all of a sudden be potential lovers just doesn’t make sense… but you know what DOES make more sense?… MR QI AND SANDY while im not a huge fan of the pairing they make much more sense because they actually somewhat interact, know of each other, and can be unlocked around the same time….

obviously take this with a grain of salt we won’t know officially until the anniversary!

Self aware Ai Mr Qi???

Similar to Edgar (electric dreams), AM (Ihnmyims), Narrator (Tsp) etc...

He's the only "alive" character and when the player shows up and he realizes that they're not just another npc they're real, and not even just a self aware machine like him, they have flesh, blood, dreams, etc... that's why he's so fixated on the player

Also I can imagine him figuring out a way to become more than just a stardew npc and basically take over your computer.....

okay so basically, theyre both selfaware (?) characters in a video game who want "perfection" and watch the protagonists every move/action and even both punish their respective protagonists if they cheat, they both tend to control the world around them and speak directly to the player on certain occasions.

At the end of the day, they control the story, over and over and over again, watching as a new run/reset comes and goes unable to truly break "free" of the cycle

(Also bonus: in the skip button ending narrator repeats "the end is never the end.... etc" this kinda reminds me of Mr Qi repeating "Me me me me me me.... etc" in the summit glitch cutscene. Not that simular but still interesting to me!!!!)
