(For context, this is a continuation of my Dark Moonwater AU and might not make a lot of sense if you haven't seen my other posts about it)

I have decided that in order to give Remus the ability to transform into Moony at will, they have to do some sort of ancient werewolf ritual (which sounds a bit ridiculous but stick with me here).

The ritual basically combines man and wolf into one consciousness. Meaning while in human form, Remus knows exactly what Moony is feeling, can hear/feel the wolf's instincts in his head, and in wolf form, Moony hears Remus' thoughts and knows what he's feeling. They communicate and coexist in the same body.

This allows them to transform between human and wolf whenever they want. It also allows a very human Regulus to safely accompany them during full moons because now they know for sure that Moony won't hurt him.

Someone like Fenrir Greyback could never complete the ritual because he's too focused on controlling the wolf. Meanwhile, a more canon version of Remus couldn't do it because he's too scared of the wolf. The point isn't control over one or the other, its about coexisting as one creature.

They're technically not a throuple but everyone thinks they are bc they live together and Regulus joins them on their dates and sometimes (most times) he sleeps in their bed with them.

They're so cute I love them.

I need a fanfic where the Black brothers have the same dynamic as Klaus and Five from The Umbrella Academy

Like can you imagine an AU with some time travel shenanigans that somehow brings 35 year old, post azkaban Sirius and 17 year old, somehow escaped the cave Regulus together again and they go hunting for horcruxes to save the world? DOES ANYONE ELSE SEE THE VISION?

Okay heres part two of this post I made about dark romantic moonwater because I got more to say, specifically about moonwaters general vibe in this au.

Potential TW for mentions of death and violence (I think).

They are madly in love. They do have soft, sweet moments, but for the most part, they are crazy and obsessed with each other.

Ultimately, the goal is for them to end the war so they can live out the rest of their days together in peace. But if one of them were to die, the other would not rest until they got revenge for their lover. And if they can't get revenge, they'll just burn the world in their grief.

They get married in the middle of battle, Elizabeth Swann and Will Turner style

"Till death do us part" does NOT exist for them. Death will not stop them from being together.

Most people see Remus as this tall, scarred, intimidating guy. He's sarcastic as hell, he glares at anyone who gets too close to his boyfriend, he snarls and bites and mauls. But to REGULUS? He's like a puppy. Thats literally his puppy.

Because Remus is so outwardly intimidating and scary looking, people assume that he's the one to watch out for. They think he's the dangerous one because he looks dangerous, only to realise too late that Regulus 'Mastermind' 'Always 5 steps ahead of everyone else' 'Touch me and my werewolf boyfriend will gore you' Arcturus Black is the one they should have been worried about.

At first, no one knows who is hunting a killing death eaters, just that they keep finding people with the dark mark very, very dead.

Then Moonwater need to get ravenclaws diadem and why go through all the effort of breaking into Hogwarts when they can just go talk to Regulus' brother who is in the Order and friends with Dumbledore?

Spoiler: They do not 'just talk' to anyone. Regulus is far too dramatic for that and Remus is far too willing to indulge his boyfriends antics.

They probably end up doing something insane, like kidnapping Pettigrew (who is probably a spy for the Order like Snape) to get the Order's attention. Or they kidnap Snape if Peter is still a traitor.

Literally the only person either of them listen to when it comes to orders/directions/requests/etc is each other.

The only place Regulus deems acceptable for him to sit is on Remus' lap. Or like, a really fancy, ornate chair that borders on being a throne. But mostly Remus' lap. Okay this is all I have in my notes app rn but I definitely have more and will write it down later. Also I have added a Dark Moonwater AU tag if anyone is interested.

Sirius is a lot like his mother.

Because when Sirius ran away to the Potters, Walburga left his bedroom untouched. She hated it, with the muggle posters and the gryffindor memorabilia, but she couldn't bring herself to have it taken down because it was all she had left of her eldest son.

And when Sirius comes back to Grimmauld Place after escaping from azkaban, he cleans the house, gets rid of cursed objects, old family heirlooms, and dark books, but he leaves Regulus' room completely untouched, because its all he has left of his little brother.
