I think in season 3 of Fallout ummmm. I think yeah next season Steph should make out with me. And that's the whole vault plotline that season and Cooper doesn't get a plotline and it's just cutting between vaultknight and then me making out with Steph. That's my pitch for season 3 lmk what you think guys
while i do like the idea of the ābig strong butchā trope that goes around here i canāt help but think about all the butches (and femmes) that donāt feel connected to the characteristics that are attributed to them on here.
being a strong butch shouldnāt always be physical. a strong butch can also be someone who carries themselves with pride even when theyāre told to be less, to put themselves in a corner. a strong butch can be someone who deals with a disability or chronic pain but that still shows up for their community. it can be the closeted butches who push through and face their fears every single day.
i think we should all start to appreciate the people in our community for their emotional and mental strength too and not focus only on what they can offer you in terms of physical affection.
this is all to say, i love you all types of lesbian, youāre loved and appreciated just as you are.
Personally if I see another person throw around the big strong butch stereotype I'm going to hit them with a baseball bat because it gets really old. One of my greatest strengths is the care and emotional labor I put into my community. more people need to pay attention to people's hearts instead of their physical state.

Hi!!!! I'd love to. Piper is so darling and I think she was really overlooked. She has been through so much and it should shine more. Apologies I've been so slow on this one. My brain feels lie hot sand as of late.
Romanced character headcanons: Piper Wright
Piper can't sleep alone. At least not well. It's always is her and Nat. It used to be that their father would read to them, but that's past.
Piper has a photographic memory - nothing to rival Nick's, of course - but she will pay close attention to her partner and their outfits.
She gets really bad headaches. The kind where she will melt like honey to have a good scalp massage. Occasionally she will ask Sole to scooch and sit behind her so they can massage her scalp, but it's a rare thing and she does her best to be polite through the aching.
She always wants to be on the ball when it comes to Christmas or birthdays, and what better way to give a good gift then to know what the receiver will use.
She's many things and nosey is one of them. This results in her doing things that seem a bit creepy at a glance. Sole becomes a frequent topic of her journal. She notes their mood, their health, anything that made them smile, etc.
Piper is very particular about her stationary. Nothing that she uses herself, it would get ruined immediately, but things she collects with the hope of gifting them to Nat or Sole.
Never forgets an event. Ever. And she's insistent no one else forgets either. She will remind everyone when Sole's birthday comes around with ample time for them to be ready. Unless Sole asks her not to. Then she will vibrate quietly and nod.
Clear communication is vital to her. She is very good at listening to Sole and asking questions to understand their perspective fully, but when it comes to her own emotions? She's a bit more muddled.
Piper struggles being openly vulnerable. Partly because she's wanted dead by a good few people, partly because she's been on her own taking care of Nat for so long. This causes her to sometimes neglect to explain to Sole how she's feeling, or dismiss her own emotions bubble over and it leads to a fight or a good cry in Sole's arms.
She runs cold. And she has no mercy for Sole if they run warm. No matter how they yelp each night when she dives under the duvet to steal their warmth: she will not relent.
When kissing it is almost always simple pecks. She prefers to keep things quick and eyes open. But when she's alone with Sole then things can go a bit further. Be warned she grips Sole tight when kissing.
Something that may not be immediately obvious to folks is: cities in the fallout universe would have way more citizens then are actually displayed. (Which could be argued for many video games)
This is due to the limitations of rendering right, it would be too much to try and load a real city's worth of residents and all their houses. But lets think outside of video game limitations and about what it would actually be like in one of those cities.
In the game, Diamond City has about 60 people in it, named and unnamed. (I believe.) But in the lore it is estimated that Diamond City has between 700 and 900 people.
That's a lot of people post apocalypse... but objectively its not many people at all. Diamond City by modern American standards wouldn't even be a city, but less than a 'small town'.
At only 700 to 900 people, Diamond City would suffer horribly from the 'small town' affect especially in a world with no telephones or internet, and your only contact outside is caravans and adventurers.
Everyone would know everyone. Everyone would be related or exes or friends or enemies. Everyone would know everyone else's business. It would be so hard to sneak around or do anything shady like theft or cheating or rebellious teen activities without getting caught by someone knows your mama on a first name basis.
Families and lineages would be important, they would have pulls and influences and connotations. There would be inherited jobs (my dad painted the wall, so now I paint the wall, and I'm gonna raise my kid to paint the wall) (side note, i totally headcanon Scarlet and Geneva as Abbot's daughters. Geneva is older in a similar age gap to Nat and Piper and Scarlet is her younger half sister.)
Small towns also love to gossip. And with a character like Piper Wright in town you know that town would have a wild and constantly running rumor mill from "Myrna is a synth" to "Moe Cronin is on buffout" to "Vadim Bobrov cuts his moonshine with vodka" always evolving rumors that 99% of the time don't stick for more than a couple days.
Unless they're big ones like "Geneva and McDonough are having an affair" or "John the Barber is actually McDonough's nephew" which people will bring up once a month till they die.
