Reminder that Eurovision hosted its 2019 show on top of the destroyed Palestinian village of Al Shaykh Muwannis 71 years after it’s Palestinian residents were completely ethnically cleansed. Eurovision was willingly complicit in the continued oppression and ongoing ethnic cleansing of Palestinians

They also purposfully include Israel, a coutnry which notably is not part of europe in anyway shape or form. Like they actively choose the apartheid state.

As BDS goes, this is an easy one, folks.

I know it's easy to joke "I'm so good at boycotting [expensive brand] because I can't afford it", but in those instances, you weren't a prospective customer in the first place so your absence doesn't factor in. It's a boycott you effectively can't do.

In this case, however, I know a lot of queer people have traditionally tuned in to Eurovision. I am asking you: don't.

If they can exclude Russia, and even Belarus (which country is functionally to Russia as Wales is to England—it just gets dragged along for the ride), for political reasons, then including Israel is really going out of their way to say "we support this genocide".

So, please don't support this genocide.

Let Eurovision see their numbers plummet, and let it be known that we will have nothing to do with their complicity in genocide.
