Additional Updates & Announcements

On June 23rd, we officially hit our Tier One goal ($140k in contributions) for 2026! An hour and a half before the event started, we hit our Tier Two goal ($180k in contributions)! Thank you SO much for your continued support!

As of June, our rules have received a major update. Please ensure that you take the time to read through them, as failure to abide by them can lead to action being taken against your account.

Upcoming Development Period

We will be undergoing another development period after this year's event to focus on reviewing feedback, updating site & server information, improvements to moderation procedures, and more. On August 19th, 2026 the site and server will be set to read-only. Functionality will be restored on November 1st, 2026.

Day 1: Swing Time

I'm planning on doing this whole prompt event (or at least as much as I can manage) as Alastor-focused Hazbin Hotel ficlets in line with the cannons of my Hellish Encounters and/or Hellspawn fic series.

This is a 246 word ficlet, rated G. Lightly Radiodust.

Alastor had the radio on in the kitchen, humming, half singing along while he cooked, every burner occupied on the stove, countertops covered in bowls of ingredients set ready, chopping boards, measuring scoops, spice bottles, what remained of a bottle of wine. 

“Here you are,” Angel said, stepping through the door. “It smells fantastic in here; whatcha got goin’?”

Alastor flashed Angel a grin as he twirled his spoon between his fingers. “Greens, rice and beans, onion rolls, something reasonably close to being a chicken—” he finished stirring one pan, set his spoon aside, and took Angel by the hands instead “—a little bit of swing.”

Angel laughed as Alastor pulled him along to dance, both of them bopping easily with the lively sway of the music. 

“Damn—dinner, dancin?” Angel half-teased, letting one set of hands rest on Alastor’s shoulders. “You know you don’t gotta woo me, deerheart, y’already got me.”

“Oh, mon cher, this is all for me,” Alastor said, pinching Angel’s cheek before deftly twirling himself out of hold under one of Angel’s arms to resume tending his cooking. 

With another laugh and a smile that made his eyespots shimmer, Angel let him go then shoved things around on the counter enough to make a spot to perch himself. There he sat, one foot bouncing in time with the tripleted eighths of the music, accented by the domestic percussion of rattling spice shakers and wooden spoons against metal pots as he and Alastor chatted.

TRIFORCE EVENT PROMPTS ✧˖°. 2026

Hey all! I have finally returned to the event idea I wanted to do back in 2024 and made it a reality! :) Get ready for the TRIFORCE EVENT! Want to know more? Read below!

The Triforce Event is a three-week event of prompts focused on helping creators flesh out or develop ideas with their TLOZ OCs (including OC Links, Zeldas, Ganons, etc). Each week will be themed after a different aspect of the story: Wisdom as Story, Power as Gameplay, and Courage as Characters. Wisdom will run from August 1st to 7th, Power from 8th to 14th, and Courage from 15th to 21st. Prompts can be followed as loosely as desired, and you do not have to participate in every single one! Prompts are here to encourage creativity, don't let them stifle it. However, we (yes, we!) have to ask that everything is SFW. There will be an ao3 collection (more info on that closer to August), and only SFW entries will be accepted into it. Besides ao3, this event is going to be hosted here on Tumblr, but you are free to post your creations on other socials as well. Formatting will be a little different this time from the Light & Time Event, in hopes of improving the experience for everyone involved. This time, there will be multiple moderators to make sure things go smoothly. If you'd like, we extend an invitation to this Discord Server; you'll want to navigate to the Events category if you'd like to join! :) Further Event updates and information after the initial announcement will be found on the @untold-myths-events blog for ease of use and navigation!
