A 22-month-old female scaredy cat tiger appeared to get the shock of her young life when she encountered a dead leaf floating on a pool of water in the Bandhavgarh National Park, India. Prints for Venezuela

I'm working with @fawnduu and @aphyray to raise funds and encourage donations to aid the people of Venezuela in the aftermath of devastating earthquakes, which were followed by flash floods. Here's how you can join:

Courtney and I designed two prints/stickers featuring wildlife symbols of Venezuela, such as the troupial, araguaney trees, and the flor de Mayo orchid. These are mini prints and die cut stickers that you can receive when you donate.

You can send proof of donation of at least $20 to printsforvenezuela at gmail, which is being managed by our friend and colleague @aphyray who will also be matching donations. The first $1000 will be matched dollar-for-dollar.

If it is possible to kick in some help to the Haitian Support Center, today (7/27/26) is the day that their legal status in the US is taken away from many Haitian immigrants. We don’t know yet what is going to happen to the massive community nearby. ICE could come today as an invasion, or this could be a long slow hell for people whose driver’s licenses and work permits were all taken away today forced into hiding and who will be picked off one at a time when caught in public by police. This population makes up roughly a quarter of the city of Springfield OH, which has been harassed nonstop by far-right racist lies.

As such, one of the biggest immediate needs right now is food box deliveries, to get basics to families who cannot legally work or drive. Small monthly commitments are more valuable than an upfront gift because it helps them budget, but anything helps. The Haitian Community Help and Support Center in Springfield is the central place to support.
