Sometimes I do tarot readings for events. I'm very open about my anti-theism and lack of belief in the supernatural. I'll tell clients about atheism and then immediately switch into Melodramatic Wizard Mode. They love it. Like once you put it on the table that this is a collaborative act of belief-as-play, people get even more into it.
Lowkey I also think encouraging people to approach belief as something instrumental and not superstitious is pretty important. Sometimes I'll do a reading for someone and I can they're they're genuinely afraid that the cards hold some otherworldly power. Which is scary! And bad! Suddenly looks smug but still cute and turns up my nose so I'm actually kind of a hero for doing tarot readings this way
