in sweden all university education is free, and (the comparatively very beneficial) student loans are only used to fund the cost of living. you're even entitled to a grant for 12 semesters.

we still do not have enough medical staff, especially in more specialised fields. they are still being overworked and under-compensated. depending on where you live and what you need, the waiting time to receive care can be several years long.

accessible education is absolutely important, but it doesn't solve these problems on its own.
