Seeing people I know and like using AI is making me understand the protagonists of those old time sci fi dystopia's.

You lived on this planet for decades, you know what you like, there are hundreds of websites where you can type into any search engine " things to do in [area]" and have at least a hundred different options.

The most popular website as you type in "recipes" into google have sections where you click dinner- quick and easy and those usually rely on staples + 1 or 2 items. I found 30 recipes on chicken alone.

I explained the “x before gta6” meme to my immigrant father and he, in turn, explained to me how back in his day in Romania, they had the same type of joke, except instead of it being gta6, it was about the imminent death of a singer named Gică Petrescu, who everyone was continuously shocked by because he refused to die. Every time a momentous event happened people would say, in essence: “This happened and Gică Petrescu hasn’t even died yet?!?”

So. He understood the gta6 meme immediately because they apparently had the same thing in Romania when he was young, except way, way more morbid

Among us fact! The only pronouns used for characters in the official english subtitles and dub of the show are they/them, except for one singular instance in 6 angry crewmates where purple refers to red as "him." (Full quote: "Give me some of him!") This is interesting as it leads to two potential hypotheses:

#1 a single accidental misgender in an overlapping line was overlooked, human error, not intentional (most likely)
