Misguided Ghosts - Role Play
Lilly Newton | Dead | FC: Amber Heard |Â OPEN
As far as Lilly was concerned, she and Adam were meant to be. It didnât matter that they had only dated for three months, she was in love, and she could feel it. Her and Adam fought frequently; so when he showed up at her house claiming it was over, she assumed he was bluffing. âHe could never leave me,â she said to her friends the next day, âHeâll come crawling back.âShe waited, and soon hours turned into days and days turned into weeks. He couldnât have forgotten about her, had he? They were in love, they were soul mates. Lilly wasnât going to let things end so easily. She began watching him from a distance; watching him as he went from class to class, even skipping her own to follow him during his free periods. Her grades quickly began to plummet, beginning to isolate herself from her family and friends. She didnât need them, anyways. She needed Adam. One month later, Lilly was almost sure she was winning him back. Instead of sending her calls to voicemail, he was picking up and disconnecting. That was a start, right? Everything seemed to be working in her favor until a small, petite brunette made her way into the picture. Suddenly, everything Lilly had hoped for was crashing and burning in front of her. Maybe if she talked some sense into him, he would understand. They were made for each other. One afternoon, she made her way to his house with a bottle of white wine and a batch of peanut butter cookies; his favorite. Maybe, just maybe, he would remember what he loved about her. When he opened the door, she quickly handed him the cookies, keeping the bottle of wine hidden in her purse; it was her secret weapon, her last resort. She would only use it if she needed to. After a few minutes, it was apparent that Adam didnât feel the same way; the brunette had corrupted him. âI brought this overâ, she peeped quietly, handing over the bottle. âCare to share a glass before I leave?â Her heart began to beat fast as he poured each of them a glass. If she couldnât have him, no one else would. It wasnât long before Adam had realized what she had done; the large amount of cyanide and rat poison could kill a small horse. It was a romantic gesture, like Romeo & Juliet, so why was he looking at her in disgust? Now they could be together forever.

Adam Albright | Dead | FC: Alex Pettyfer|Â OPEN
Adam wasnât completely sure what was wrong with Lilly. When they first met, he assumed she was just different, different in a good way. She seemed perfect for himâat least for the moment, until two months into the relationship. When she started talking about the futureâ-their future, he began to panic. She was only seventeen, how could she possibly have any idea what his future held? The first fight they had was small; but as time went on, they began to fight more and more as Lilly became more controlling. By the third month, fights were a daily occurrence; breaking up and getting back together at least once a week. Friends laughed when either of them announced their latest break-up. âYouâll be back together by the end of the day. Why do you even bother breaking up in the first place?â By their three-month anniversary, Adam was fed up with the constant drama. After school, he waited for her by the flagpole; where they met every day after school. He broke it to her as nicely and as clearly as possible. âThings just arenât working out,â he explained,âthings are just too intense. Iâm sorry.â Adam was sorry, more for himself than for her. How did he get involved in such a mess? The first few days of the break-up went smoothly; Lilly gave him his space, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. After the fourth day, it was clear that there was some miscommunication: Lilly had begun to wait for him at the flagpole once again. Once he began to ignore her existence completely, she started to pop up everywhere; outside his classes, by his locker, hanging out with his friendsâshe wasnât getting it. Adam began to hide in the library after school, hoping Lilly would give up and stopping waiting for him outside. In the midst of the drama and disaster, he met Sara, a quiet sophomore that also spent her afternoons in the library. Unlike Adam, who was loud and had a natural charm, Sara was introverted and awkward; but somehow, the two clicked. After a few weeks, Adam and Sara became exclusive. Despite Adamâs fears, he walked Sara to and from class every day, pleasantly surprised that his crazy ex-girlfriend had seemingly backed off. Finally, everything seemed to be getting better. One day after school, Adam was waiting around for Sara to get out of her SAT prep. When the doorbell rang, he assumed she had just gotten out early, not stopping to check if it was really her. He had barely opened the door when Lilly shoved a plate of peanut butter cookies into his arms. Before he could even speak, Lilly had bounded through the door, making herself comfortable in the living room. Adam sat across from her awkwardly as she pleaded with him, trying to reject her advances as politely as possible. Just as he was ready to usher her out, Lilly unveiled a bottle out of wine. âI brought this over. Care to share a glass before I leave?â Adam knew it was best to say no, but what was the harm in having one last drink? He knew something was wrong immediately as the liquor passed down his throat. He didnât have time to scream; the deadly mixture had done something to his lungs. Adam looked over to Lilly one last time; the pained look on her face saying much more than she ever could. Lilly Newton wasnât just different, she was a psychopath; and she had just committed murder. The years passed and Adam slowly accepted his fate as a ghost. Although he still feels bitter for the cruel life Lilly forced him into, he tries to do things to pass the time and avoid her at all costs. Adam spends a lot of his time wandering around the town, sticking closely towards the school and sometimes just sitting inside the library where he had met his Sara; who he is positive he would have spent the rest of his life with if Lilly hadnât intervened.
