It’s actually a little jarring that vampires are a more broad category here. Where I’m from, they’re one thing with certain traits that are set in stone.
This isn’t a new discovery for me. I know that vampires are incredibly diverse…But when I’m hit with the fact that they can’t be lumped together into a coherent species, it’s hard to talk about some other things

it's definitely made me more accepting of myself - my habits, my behaviors, my appearance; the humans know something's off but can't seem to ask me 'are you a vampire' mostly because I'm mixed with werewolf most of the time, so I just look weird. I've embraced being weirder, scarier, more off-putting and it's been quite fun not caring so much anymore about fitting in as I never did and won't among humans
2. white vampires may have it easier physically presenting as a vampire and being seem as normal [ as normal as a vampire in daylight is ] people are more comfortable with them and expect a vampire to be pale or much lighter than me, so they see me more as a threat than an oddball.
