Neil Gaiman.
It isn’t difficult for me, personally, to differentiate the art from artist. Most of the time i don’t really gaf about the ‘atrist’ unless their art has had a huge impact on my life.
A few years ago i never even knew someone with the name ‘neil gaiman’ existed. I was introduced to his world of fantasy by ‘the sandman’ which i regrettably came upon on netflix. Ever since that i have never been able to ever shut up about it. Last year i finally finished reading the comics and cried while reading ‘the last sandman story’. At that point, it wasn’t even about the comics anymore. The praise in my heart that i had for the artist surpassed the art itself. Ever since then, i made it my mission as an aspiring writer to create and write art just as impactful as neil gaiman’s. I was halfway reading American gods when the news first came.
I was disappointed, disgusted and absolutely devastated to find out that this person who i idolised for being someone with so much power in his words, it left you with such an impact that your whole life changed turned out to be an absolute rotten shit, scumbag waste of a person. Still, time passed and i tried to not think about him and all the pain he had caused to his victims as i picked American gods back up again. I thought it wouldn’t matter if i read on or not because i already have the book. Im already halfway in. It couldn’t hurt. But for some reason, i couldn’t bring myself to finish even a single chapter.
Yesterday i found the vulture article on neil gaiman on reddit. I read half of it and closed the tab. I couldn’t believe the words that i was reading, the things, the hurt he had caused. Today i went back finished reading the article. And i have come to a conclusion: no matter what level of pain he is assigned for his crimes, here, or in the after life (is there is one) it will never be enough to repent the pain he has inflicted on scarlet, on K, on caroline, on every other person who has been his victim and is too scared to speak up, ON HIS OWN SON!
I believe the victims. I believe every single thing they have to say about Neil Gaiman. And i hope they get justice soon, and neil gets what he deserves.
Neil gaiman, you absolute piece of rotten trash. The world would be better off without you.

When im awake at 3 am all alone in my room staring up at the ceiling in the dark wondering how someone’s love that felt so warm and comforting towards me turn freezing and cold all of the sudden only to realise seasons too change from warm summer breeze to the cold winter chill in the blink of an eye and as you lay in the dark surrounded by blankets you suddenly cannot recall what that warmth felt like or if it was even there. With a sigh i then close my eyes and hope for a good spring to make the flowers in the garden bloom. Only then would i not remember this coldness.

Here’s the plot: the angel of destruction and healing goes to ancient babylon to destroy the hanging gardens and the many unparalleled wonders of the ancient city while also killing the king.
