day 51 of being in band this year

- trumpets keep blasting during amber moon (naoya wada)

- trumpets then stop to laugh at each other when someone’s third valve slide falls out, and since they have the melody, they drop out

- percussionists turn to glare at them

- bass line gets slightly louder

- flutes agressively play the solo

- bass line doesn’t care

- fuck woodwinds

- band director cuts us off

- BD turns to trumpets

- rubs his eye with middle finger & says “please notice which finger i’m using”

Please help our band program!

Our band program needs new instruments. And there's one simple way you guys can help.

But first I'll tell you guys about it.

Our band is not funded by the school or the state. We get all of our money for instruments from fundraisers.

We've been given the opportunity to get money to buy new instruments (our sousaphones are 15 years+, and baris are fast approaching that).

Björk. I really admire her as an artist, the first time I was introduced to her music I fell in love instantly. I think Vespertine is my favourite era. I would love to do an arrangement of one of her songs but I can never decide which one. Should stop overthinking.
