Craigellachie 23 Year Old is a real heavyweight from Speyside and is considered by connoisseurs to be one of the most characterful single malts. While many whiskies from this region are known for their smoothness, Craigellachie remains true to its reputation as an “old-school” distillery.

Craigellachie (pronounced kra-GELL-ach-ie) uses traditional worm tubs (snake-shaped copper pipes in cooling basins). As the distillate has less contact with the copper here than in modern facilities, the whisky retains a distinctive, almost “meaty” texture and a subtle sulphur note, which is wonderfully integrated at 23 years of age.

Craigellachie 23 is not a whisky for “beginners” who are only looking for pure sweetness. It is intended for connoisseurs who appreciate rough edges. Its quality has been recognised with multiple awards.

Glen Garioch 12 Years Old is a classic representative of the Eastern Highlands and is often considered an insider tip among connoisseurs. It comes from one of Scotland's oldest distilleries (founded in 1797) and is characterized by a robust, artisanal profile.

The Kilchoman Uniquely Islay Series Single Cask (Vintage 2013) is a prime example of why Kilchoman, despite its relatively young history, holds a firm place in the hearts of Islay fans. This bottling was released in 2020 exclusively for the German market (importer: Hanseatische Weinhandelsgesellschaft) and shows the distillery at its most powerful.

At 57.6% ABV, this whisky comes into the glass undiluted and unadulterated. As a single cask bottling, the aromas are more concentrated than in the standard releases.
