Doing what I hate – because I love it

Today I did a workout with a friend. We were going on the stationary bike on level max with 30 sec intervals and 30 sec rest, many times. Legs all swollen and exhausted. Heartrate constantly above 170 bpm and, well, staying alive was basically hurting me.
