This is my first time making a request but I was think toddler or kid reader who is a kid of one of the dc villains (doesn't matter who rlly) and once they were busted the child is placed in Bruce's care (they are in surprisingly good care for being in the care of a villai). While there the family helps to take care of them and maybe a mention of the villain trying to come and break in at night to take the baby back but Alfred being Alfred is there to protect them and fights off the villain.
Srry if this is a bit all over the place😭
Batfam x Harvey Dent kid!reader
I never see people write a lot about Harvey so thought I'd give it a try :>
<M. Reader> = Master Reader or Miss Reader which ever is your preference

Coming home from patrol was a relieving moment for everyone. It was a time for decompression, addressing wounds, showers, Alfred cooking (if he wasn't mad at somebody for getting injured). What wasn't part of coming home from patrol was a random five-year-old. Well, not a completely random five-year-old Oracle had been given an anonymous tip saying Two-Face had been seen near the Gotham courthouse, which wasn't entirely a lie. Dent was at the court house, just a smaller version with only a fraction of his DNA. They had said their name was <Reader>. Dents kid. They were seeking out Batman to warn him that Harvey had bombs scattered throughout Gotham set on a generator that would have a random selection of the bombs going off, each bomb getting a 50/50 chance of being set off. Why was the kid telling them this? Bruce had no idea, but he knew it wouldn't be safe to leave a child out on possibly bombed streets, let alone to go back to Harvey. So here he was watching <Reader> roam the cave why Tim worked on the Batcomputor and Oracle in the clock tower scouring cameras and police reports on possible bomb positions with a sidebar of anything they could find on <Reader> in the works.
"I don't understand how almost all medical records of a child can just...not be found!" Tim exclaimed tired and frustrated. Bruce didn't respond, just kept watching the kid.
"Someone who doesn't want said child to be found, obviously," Jason gave his two cents as he took off his helmet and placed it next to the Batcomputor.
"Wow, thanks for the observation genius," Tim deadpanned.
"Happy to help," Jason admitted smug as he watched <Reader> who was sitting quietly in a chair in the cave organizing Batarangs by size on the table in front of them. "There's no way there actually enjoying doing that."
"I don't blame them. Some of us like to keep stuff organized, Jay" Dick said from where he was sitting in a spiny chair. Jason faked offense.
"I keep my weapons organized for your information, Dickie," Jason defended himself.
"I find that incredibly hard to believe," Damian stated, appearing from particularly know where Jason narrowed his eyes a bit. "Nobody asked you," Damian scoffed.
"Are we seriously keeping them?" Steph had asked as she came downstairs, changed out of her spoiler suit a mug of tea in her hand. Bruce took this as his opportunity to cut in.
"We have possible bombs placed all over Gotham and, clearly, <Reader> has access to being out on the streets alone. If bombs don't get them, certainly something else will." This was something everyone in the Dark Knights cave could agree on. The kid was much safer here. So here they'll stay for the time being.
<Reader> had gone from sitting criss-crossed in the chair to sitting on their knees why moving a Batarang was knocked over before the kid could react Cass had picked it up and placed it with its size group. The kid looked up at her wide eyes, not blinking, something everyone assumed they picked up from their dad. They looked at Cass, then at the Batarang and smiled. Cass sat down next to the child and helped them continue to organize the weapons. At the end of the night, all that could be found on <Reader> was that they were, in fact, Harvey's child and there were five. Other than that, nothing important like birthdays could be found.

For the next couple of days, it was night after night going out to find the bombs placed around the city. Leaving <Reader> at home at the manor, mostly in Alfred's care. Taking care of children wasn't anything new for Alfred. He took care of Bruce when his parents passed away when Bruce was only a child and that went for many of the other beginning Robins. Another child at this point was nothing new to the older gentleman. <Reader> was different. That was, for certain, the little thing blinked as little as possible, making them constantly stare at everyone, so they sometimes made the room feel uncomfortable with the thousand-mile stare they had. Being eerily quiet was another thing. A perfect creepy mix by everyone's standards (Cass loved them). However, Alfred thought, in his humble opinion, with all said strangeness, the child was nothing but kind. For such a divided individual, Harvey Dent seemed to have done a decent job raising a child. But to be flawed is to be human and, in Harvey's case, his divided nature deeply affected his child. Everything the child did, they did in twos, like it was some form of superstition. All of their clothes needed to be an even amount. How was this found out? Because Damian spent an entire day looking for a single sock only to learn <Reader> had taken it because they had an uneven number of socks.
"You know you don't need to do that, right?" Tim informed the kid eyebrow raised as he watched the kid pour cereal into a half cup and into a bowl, and milk into that same half cup and into the same bowl as the cereal. It apparently needed to be perfectly half-and-half.
"Dad does it." <Reader> said with all seriousness.
"Uh....yeah, that makes sense." Tim just left the kitchen. This family was so weird.

Alfred always woke up early. Running a place like Wayne Manor took a lot of time and effort for one man. He truly didn't expect anyone to be up at that time and if they were, he would send them straight back to bed. But for a quick moment of surprise, he simply just watched <Reader> in the kitchen. The sun barely rising stood on their toes as they yawned, plating two eggs on a plate on a scrambled one Sunnyside.
"Good morning <M. Reader> the sun is not yet fully up. I recommend heading back to bed before the rest of the manor wakes up," Alfred said calmly as he took the spatula out of the tired child's hands ".... However, if you are hungry, I can certainly make you something," the kid shook their head.
"....making breakfast for dad," they mumbled as they blinked, practically falling back asleep and falling into Alfred’s arms. Part of him was reminded of Jason when he was once young, waking up tired accidentally making breakfast for his mom, not realizing he'd be in the manor. The thought made his heart ace a bit. He brought the young child back to bed who didn't wake up for another couple of hours. However, when they did, Alfred was already waiting for them in the kitchen.
"Ah, good morning, <M. Reader> Would you like some breakfast?" Alfred said calmly as ever, so the kid, who just sleepily nodded rubbing their dry eyes.
The kid ate their breakfast, silently moving food around the plate to where everything was even on each side. Damian walked into the kitchen fully dressed expecting something. Alfred saw him and gave a tired smile.
"Master Damian, I must insist you be patient. I have dishes to wash and laundry to fold, then we will start heading to the Botanical Gardens like we planned."
"Of course, Pennyworth." Damian seemed mildly disappointed at the setback, but if he was disappointed, he didn't say anything. <Reader> just stared at the interaction and continued staring at Damian even when the interaction was over. Of course Damian noticed.
"Well?" He glanced over at <Reader> who was about to speak but decided against it and shook their head.
"..nothing" Damian rolled his eyes.
"Well, it has to be something?"
"...can I go to the Gardens with you two?" <Reader> Finally, asked Damian, who seemed to think for a second about the question.
"....I suppose" he glanced over at Alfred, who was washing the last bit of the dishes.
"I'd be perfectly happy to have <M. Reader> join with us," the man smiled, causing <Reader> to smile a bit.

<Reader> jumped over a crack in the sidewalk, stumbling a bit as they landed and kept walking, repeating this every once in a while.
"Dent. Is this another one of your half-and-half superstitions?" Damian asked, watching them. <Reader> just looked up at them, tilting their head.
"No?"
"Then why do you choose to jump over certain pieces of the sidewalk?"
"Oh! Because if you step on one of the cracks it's bad luck!" They explained like it made so much sense.
"What?"
"Yeah!"
"That doesn't make any logical sense..."
"Yeah huh!"
The two bickered and Alfred couldn't help but smile as he walked behind the two. There was a sense of peace. However, that piece was shortly interrupted by a loud BANG erupting and a force pushing everyone in the radius of the explosion off balance and onto the ground. One of the bombs Harvey had set had gone off. <Reader> sat up scratching their ear to try and get rid of the ringing in their ear that the explosion caused not hearing the two henchmen coming behind them. One quickly grabbed <Reader>, who let out a scream of protest, leaving their mouth to be quickly covered.
"Shut the brat up! Two-Face wants his kid back quickly and quietly!" The man with his hands free quickly said to the henchmen, holding a squirming <Reader>.
"I thought he said-"
"Just shut up and let's go!" The man exclaimed, anxiety written all over him.
The henchman holding <Reader> felt a tap on his shoulder. "Huh?" He quickly turned around to see an oddly calm Alfred.
"I'd advise placing them down," was all he said before the Henchmen turned around to see Damian swinging at them, knocking them out, causing them to drop the kid. The other man was made quick work of. Alfred crouched down in front of <Reader>.
"Let's get out of here, shall we?" Alfred asked and <Reader> quickly nodded as Alfred picked them up. The way back to the manor was undisturbed. The rest of the family was quickly made aware of the day's events. Alfred assessed <Reader> for injuries in the cave and insisted that he looked over Damian as well. Bruce had made it a rule for the time being that, for <Reader> safety, they wouldn't be leaving the manor until he could face Harvey himself and work something out.
"Damn, fighting over child custody with a villain lawyer is a new one for you, Bruce." Jason snickered as he leaned against the Batcave wall. He earned nothing but deadpan expressions from everyone.
"What!? It's literally what's happening!"
