ok ok ok...this is my roman empire ty for asking!!
hotch and rossi clearly have this married-couple kind of dynamic that grows throughout the show. they know each other so well, so intimately. they're always there for each other, and the team literally refers to them as "mom and dad" in canon (i think only once, but still).
i firmly believe that hotch was never unfaithful to haley, but i think his ~bisexuality~ was something he wasn't aware of until after her passing, and his attraction to rossi was always there, just in the back of his mind.
all the time spent together for work just brings them closer and closer...and i'm supposed to believe they never smooched?? c'mon.
*insert joke about rossi's had so many wives he should give men a shot*
idc i will headcanon hotch as ticklish til the day i die. he definitely has the ability to ignore it/pretend not to be but that can only last so long, yknow?? and rossi clearly has a lil mischievous energy about him.
i weirdly can't picture rossi being very ticklish, but he definitely isn't unaffected like hotch pretends to be <33
like. C'mon. i am not immune to old man yaoi. they co-coach hotch's kid's soccer team together. that's gay as fuck.
rossi's facial hair tickles hotch's neck when they cuddle but hotch is too proud to admit it so he just tries to subtly scoot away.
What do we think the team wears at the pool?
Here are my thoughts:
Hotch: swim trunks and a t-shirt
Emily: black and/or cheetah print one piece with a wrap and a big hat
JJ: swimming tank top and boyshorts
Reid: swim trunks that are a little too short bcs he's tall
Derek: swimming briefs or trunks
Rossi: tank top and speedo
Penelope: a one piece, but it has lots of holes and straps
Gideon: long swim trunks and a UV swim shirt
Tara: bikini top and boyshorts
Luke: tiny swim shorts
Matt: t shirt and board shorts

2022 Winter (Q2)
Wk 1 Day 1
As I deem today a syllabus week, I'm finding myself scattered. I've been looking forward to this quarter all fall and now that I'm here I see the fear coursing in my chest as I breathe. So instead of staying jumbled on the pages, I will unravel my thought knots and give my self an audience. #selftherapy?
Took a break earlier to treat myself to some taco bell and blackrock coffee, but now that I'm fed, I just want to curl up and just not. Not an optionnn 🌚🌝
Taking 3 classes this quarter, so for ten weeks, I want to buckle down and getter done. I also want to keep up with going to the gym that my boyfriend and I are planning to hit this week ~ weekly swims actually sounds like motivation for once. Last quarter was an initial adjustment to being back in school after a pandemic and online school in general. I appreciated that I had time to see friends and socialize for some time with that schedule and the class(es) were not as rigorous as I had anticipated off the bat.
Not so, no longer. My theories class seems pretty straightforward. Discussions each week and two open book exams. We got that, book has arrived, and I will actually do all my discussions for this class, I promise (me @ me)
The techniques class has gotten me a bit ope'd out. {overwhelmed processing externalizing} I'll have video assignments, lot more real-time synchronous interactions and zoom lectures, and now a healthy dose of Please Don't Disappoint This Lovely Professor. This may be the big Doozy for me this Q so stay tuned,
Ethics and Legal Issues is just gonna be dense. That textbook is looking mighty thic but I feel excited to dive into it. The assignments are varied and so I think it'll be a nice go-between class to keep me on my toes. The professor seems like they know what's up too, so I anticipate some interest tidbits.
Now that I've got a feel for each class and see the vibes together, I suppose it's actually time for me to do the damn thing for weeks 1 huh
Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation - Small House Designs
If you've got a hankering to look at small home designs for inspiration, and you've got a preference for older design features (rooms with walls, for instance): The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation ran a design competition in the early 1900s, and published those home plans in booklets that you can now find on Archive.org.
I really like a few things about these designs:
They're small
They bungalow designs almost all have basements
The kitchens are in separate rooms, hallelujah
The Motley Fool published an interesting article about the CMHC warning of a housing crash and how to protect your capital. CMHC claims that if a crisis occurs, it will have a reduced ability to protect high-risk borrowers. They say people are buying homes with negative equity, and that can lead to drastic long-term financial troubles. The article suggests allocating your funds to protect your wealth from the drastic decline. They recommend adding some ideal equity to your portfolio so your wealth can enjoy relative insulation from a broader market crash. What do you think? What is your plan? https://bit.ly/3aAbWCp
CMHC’s new, strict lending measures will trigger a surge in home purchase volume as potential home buyers rush to the mortgage market before July 1, when these policies take effect. CMHC’s new measures, which include at least one applicant having a minimum credit score of 680 and a maximum debt service ratio of 44 and gross debt service ratio of 35, mean that prospective home buyers who don’t meet the new requirements have a tight deadline to meet. Call Mike Bolger at (519) 616-2656 if you're in the market to find a home. I'll do my best to find you the ideal home quickly and make your real estate experience stress-free. https://yhoo.it/2BV21Kp
