(A few notes before the list starts just to make everything much easier to read and comprehend. Helena Bertinelli and Renee Montoya: two of the non-Bat Gotham vigilantes! They have a super intense friendship and sometimes partner up together, and I love them.

It can be really hard to figure out which comics to read to find a ship's interactions, so hopefully this helps someone! If I missed anything, please let me know!

The Question: Pipeline

Convergence: The Question #2

The Question: Pipeline (2011) - Helena and Renee team up to bring down organized crime. Featuring the two of them kicking ass and taking names, and bonding over their relationships to the original Question. Probably the meatiest bit of HelRenee canon. Also found as backups in Detective Comics #854-865.

Birds of Prey (2010) #12-13 - Another team-up, this time with Helena trying to recruit Renee to the Birds of Prey. They're friends!

Convergence: The Question - Part of the larger Convergence event, but here they are staying together and end up teaming up to stop Two-Face. (They also team up with Renee's ex, Kate Kane.)

Lois Lane (2019) #10 - the reader is briefly shown a number of alternate universes, including one where Helena and Renee are together. Only one image but it's a nice touch!

Birds of Prey (2010) #12

Are you a fan of Booster Gold? Do you not read current comics because Booster is never in them? Have you seen a bunch of panels floating around of Booster in some sort of horrible situation and want to know what's going on? You do not need to read entire series to know what's happening, here's what you should read just for Booster

All In Special— The origin of how Booster got into his horrible situation. It's a fun read with a lot of Booster and affirms that he is an important part of the universe

Summer of Superman Special— Booster is there for a few pages at the end and we see him for a page. This is a really good read especially if you're a fan of Superman (although I'm sure you're already keeping up with the summer of superman if you like him) but also a fun read and sets up what Booster is doing while suffering like jesus on the cross

Superman (2023) #27— Booster confirmed the most important person in the universe. He appears for the last few pages, you don't need to read the whole comic especially if you haven't been reading this series all ready

What you shouldn't read if you're looking for Booster:

Any ongoing—you don't need to read the entirety or even multi issue arcs of any ongoing series like superman, action comics, or justice league unlimited (which I've been reading in hopes of Booster being mentioned). Booster's disappearance is the prelude to a big event that's going to effect the whole universe, not just one series. His appearances are sporadic right now so reading a whole ongoing will be fun if you like that series, but it's not going to give you any more information than if you just read the books he appears in

We are Yesterday—If you like Batman and Superman, you will like this event. If you care even remotely about any time traveler in DC you will hate it. You will sit there thinking of all the established heroes and teams that can time travel and you will burn with fury that they are not there. I read this all and it was probably pretty good, but I was just missing the Time Masters the whole time

Where to watch for Booster in the comics coming out soon

Superman (2023) #28— I know I said you don't have to read a full series, but Superman is fighting the Dark Legion who are holding Booster hostage so more than likely he'll be there

Justice League Dark Tomorrow Special— Booster is on the cover, Gold Beetle has returned, and the Time Masters are mentioned in the summary. I'm carefully excited for this one

New History of the DC Universe #3— this is unrelated to the stuff that's currently happening to him, but we know he's going to be in issue 3 and i'm interested in seeing how his history is presented there

Morally ambigigous, bored, and seeking thrills, once big cat trapper Thomas Blake decided to become Catman, a super-villain cloaked in a mystic cape that gave him nine lives. After years of fighting the Batman and losing, he became a joke to heroes and villains alike. Desperate to rekindle his confidence, he retreated back to Africa, living a life of simplicity within a pride of lions. He gladly wouldve spent the rest of time alongside his pride, but Lex Luthor had other plans. When Blake refused the Secret Society of Super-Villains when they demanded he join their ranks, they had his entire pride slaughtered in retaliation. Outraged, Blake became Catman once again, and soon found himself allied with the criminal team known as the Secret Six. Catman now hunts and punishes those who he believes abuse their power... whether hero or villain.
