Been a bit MIA recently but I finally finished Couch to 5k!!!!!!! 💪😭🎉🎉
I really, really wanted to finish on a high, and after killing the second to last run I couldn’t help wanting to go even faster and further for the final one. The weather’s been so insanely hot that I ended up getting up at 5.45am to sneak out before the heat could make it too difficult and it totally worked!! The crazy part is that the first 30 minutes felt pretty tough, but as soon as I passed the 30 minute mark I felt invincible, and I managed to hit 40+ minutes non stop running!
My foot’s a little busted up now but I’m totally happy to take this victory and go a little easier while I recover. But... do I keep working on increasing distance after this or should I try to increase my pace or just aim to maintain? If any of you guys have done Couch25k or similar programs I’d love to know what you did next!! 🥰💕
