hey guys, both for props and for drawing i just found out that using models from this site: http://www.destinystlgenerator.com/ and opening the .STL file in photoshop and allowing it to go to 3D workspace, you can use these for drawing refs for destiny!!! both D1 and D2.

Twenty-seven contributors shared their memories of Destiny, and we can’t begin to describe what a pleasure it has been to work with these accomplished individuals.

We are nearly at 1,000 downloads, and we’re super stoked by all the positive feedback we’ve received! Really, the reception has been great. Thank you to this great community, and THANK YOU to our amazing contributors! Without you, Written in Light would not have happened.

Meet Keiko.

Doge. Guardian. Hunter.

Of blowing leaves, that is. 

She’s a fearsome predator who stalks the wilds, renowned for her uncanny tracking abilities and her ability to sniff out treasure in the most unexpected places. Truly a Hunter’s Hunter, Keiko’s first rule is that Keiko comes first. She plays hard, and works...less hard, and while she can be slow to trust, the Guardians who know her best think of her as a loyal - if peculiar - companion. 

If there’s one thing Keiko loves more than the thrill of the hunt, it’s curling up for some well-earned relaxation. She suggests you unwind with Volume 1 of Written in Light - although, as she lacks opposable thumbs, she would appreciate it if you were to turn the pages for her.

Hey Destiny artists/writers, we’re still looking for submissions!

Calling all Guardians: we’re still looking for artists, writers, and creators of all kinds to submit to volume one of Written in Light. 

Don’t know what that is? Written in Light is a Destiny fan-zine that showcases the work of the people who make Destiny beautiful. That means if you are:

An artist

A writer

A cosplayer

A prop-maker

A Destiny fanatic of any kind

We want to show off your talent in a beautiful, professionally-designed layout. All you have to do is submit your best work - and if you know anyone who fits any of the descriptions above, please make sure you’re tagging them in your replies or reblogs.

Submissions are due September 5th (because we know you’ll be bingeing on Destiny 2 as of the 6th), which means you have less than a month to submit! That’s plenty of time, of course, so don’t put it off - Written in Light is a project you’ll want to be a part of.

We already have a host of truly fantastic contributors, and we’ve been blown away by the quality of the submissions we’ve received. Just to tempt you, here’s a snippet of something of something you can look forward to:

We can’t wait to see the finished product. Hopefully it inspires you to submit your own creation!
